Poster I thought was cool, that seemed similar to the footage showed at CC. Yes it's fan made, but gives us a good idea of what to expect, pretty cool if you ask me.

I take it the high heel boots are for the photo shoot only, cuz why would you fight with those? Other than that, it looks great but I bet WB DC is waiting for online reaction and see where they need to tweak up on her suit.

I'm sure Gadot will be more in shape by the time she is actually shooting her part than what this photo reveals.

    Keep it up! \m/

One thing I've always thought of...how do deaf people think? I mean, I think by talking to myself in my head. But if somebody has been deaf since birth and can't talk, how do they think?

My best friend's son just turned 1 this past March. At the end of this past April, his son got cocular implants. He was born with virtually no hearing. It's taken until this past month, but he's finally realized what its like to hear.

I like to believe he thinks the same way I do; mentally visualizing what I want to figure out. I don't need to say it to problem solve it...but I do need to picture it.

I am VERY satisfied with this costume. She looks great!
Its funny, it seems like every time something is announced for this movie in writing so many people hate it, but every time something is announced or revealed through a photo, its very much enjoyed. I think that is a good sign for this movie overall. Visually it is going to be pretty great IMO. I trust David Goyer and Chris Terrio as writers enough to think this will also be a well written movie! Everything is coming together....despite it being 2 years away.

Who would you guys want to see direct a solo Wonder Woman movie? almost think a strong female director could do it justice. That may sound feministic or whatever, but maybe the director of Zero Dark Thirty. She seems to be able to do a good job directing strong female leads. That's just right off the top of my head though.

    1. Frank Avatar

As soon as you asked the question I thought of Kathryn Bigelow, the director of Zero Dark Thirty/Hurt Locker.

      1. lethargicj Avatar

Really? I thought there were more. This quote of hers is on her Wiki page and it would be awesome for her to take on Wonder Woman with that attitude..."If there's specific resistance to women making movies, I just choose to ignore that as an obstacle for two reasons: I can't change my gender, and I refuse to stop making movies. It's irrelevant who or what directed a movie, the important thing is that you either respond to it or you don't. There should be more women directing; I think there's just not the awareness that it's really possible. It is."

It's either her or Sofia Coppola and I doubt Sofia can blow stuff up as well.

        2. 12stepCornelius Avatar
          12stepCornelius

I think Angelina Jolie might find her place in that area of strong female directors soon as well. Her movies are fairly well-received by critics if I'm not mistaken.

      2. 12stepCornelius Avatar
        12stepCornelius

Yeah, I could just see her bringing a strength in character to Wonder Woman and the Amazonians if they do a prequel type movie showing her origins in the DCU. It just seems like if a male directed it, they may or may not focus too much on sex appeal and action sequences. I would like to see a dramatic, story-driven Wonder Woman movie with good action sequences yes, but not overkill on fights and CGI.

I'm sure it will look great in action. For the most part, I think they're staying true to the character. I was sort of expecting a Xena like attire but with a more modern, wonder woman spin. My only criticism are the stiletto boots (really?!) and the skirt (looks like a diaper in the still). Looks like it could be longer in the back... hard to tell. But in the front, it looks cropped a bit short. Once again, this could all look awesome in action.

The suit and actress is very meh to me, beauty just doesn't cut it for me personally. I remember how Catwoman and Sucker Punch turned out b/c of trying to only sell sex with no substance in a hero movie. But I loved all the other reveals.

Amazing. Like most of us, I had doubts how to bring her to life, in a design sense ... But this is it, hammer to a nail perfection. Well done Zack & Gal ...

Though I'm more intrigued about the background, all volcanic and s**t. I'm taking it this is a frame from a scene involving the amazons. How will the film address this? Will it be akin to Marvels Asgard i.e. a separate realm or what?

All very extreme emotions of excitement from this ... Love it!
