Zack Snyder shares photo of Superman dressed as a Star Wars Jedi

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder doesn't tweet very often, but when he does it's always something interesting. Take a look at the photo he just shared on Twitter above. It's Henry Cavill dressed as Superman, dressed as a Jedi from Star Wars! So what does this is all mean? Here's my take...

There have been rumors that security is so tight on the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) all have to wear big black robes when they're on set and not filming a scene. It appears that they took a photo of Cavill in one of those robes and then decided to have a little fun in Photoshop and turn it into a Star Wars themed shoot.

With Comic-Con officially kicking off tomorrow, who knows what other surprises Zack Snyder may have up his sleeve. Stay tuned to Batman News for all the latest!

  He did. When people were horrified by what Hack Snyder did to the most beloved, pure hearted hero of them all, they decided to revisit what a real Superman looks like. One that actually, you know, was a hero and didn't destroy half a city, ruthlessly murdered hundreds of thousands of lives in a battle that he should have took somewhere else and didn't instantly become the greatest VILLAIN in the DC universe.
  Cavill's Superman murdered more people than the Joker, and it all happened in one day.

Wait a minute, your name is Reeve Didn't Kill People.... and by that you mean HIS version of Superman "didn't kill anyone".... Have you... seen the ending.... of SUPERMAN II?... where your Superman.........................kills ZOD (gasp) by taking his powers away and throwing him down a polar pit... WITH A SMILE ON HIS FACE?!?!?!?...... (slap my forehead) Superman has killed in comics when he has had no other choice. Hell, even Batman has killed in the most dire of situations, like in Batman Begins- he lets Al Ghoul crash in the train/ Pushes Harvey Dent over a building in TDK and in The Dark Knight Returns it's been speculated that Batman shoots a mutant with a rifle that was threatening to kill that baby in Book II (I think).
Watch MOS again, Zod knew his fate, he realized he had no Krypton to defend and knew Superman was going to defend Earth to the very end and he went out his way, even though Superman didn't want it that way. At least CAVILL Superman cried (vs your smiling Reeves) in remorse but he saved 7 billion innocent lives...... you're welcome, lol.

Chris Reeve was and always will be a terrific Superman for that time. I am ecstatic that the bronze-age, "Luthor, you snake!", Jimmy Olsen's pal and all the other stuff that came from that time period, is relegated to the "Fondest Memories" bin. Stay true to the (ever-changing) cannon, write a terrific story and all will be well. Zack Snyder and Goyer gave Superman his "stones" back, actually gave him someone to fight and punch with bad intentions and....taking a page from the excellent ways Marvel does things, made him real and relevant again, with a sprinkle of bad-a**. As for Reeve's version of Superman "not killing," what do you think happened to Zod and Co. when they fell into the crevasses in the fortress in Superman II? You think they landed on pillows? 1) Make sure that Gotham and Batman look dark, moody and BADASS!
2) Make sure Terrio/Goyer deliver on plot.
3) If Affleck gets Batman's voice wrong do a 'George Lucas' and dub over it with Kevin Conroy.

Red lightsaber? RED?! Doomsday has red eyes in some of the comics. Doomsday confirmed! Also, Cavill's left eye is kinda blurry. That clearly states for a fact that he is missing an eye which clearly shows that Deathstroke is confirmed. Hood? Green Arrow confirmed. Red saber with hood? Red Hood storyline confirmed. Anakin had the same look in Revenge of the Sith and he was part metal. Metallo confirmed! George Lucas made Star Wars and his friend's daughter's best friend's mom's dentist likes penguins.
