Troy Baker is Batman and Adam West stars as himself in 'LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham'

July 16, 2014

Earlier this week Warner Bros. announced 6 pre-order bonuses for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham but now we know who will be voicing the Dark Knight. Troy Baker, known best to Batman fans as Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, will voice Batman in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. Baker has previously voiced Batman in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and LEGO Batman: The Movie - DC Super Heroes Unite. And as a fun bonus Adam West will be in the game... as Adam West!

Here's the full list of announced voice talent:

Batman -- Troy Baker
Adam West -- Adam West
Superman -- Travis Willingham
Wonder Woman -- Laura Bailey
Green Lantern -- Josh Keaton
Aquaman -- Scott Porter
Brainiac -- Dee Bradley Baker

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will be released this fall for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PC, Nintendo 3DS, and PS Vita.

Despite how good previous and new Batman voices are, no one will ever top Kevin Conroy. I didn't like Troy Baker as The Joker in the Assault on Arkham trailer. Was an alright Batman though.

So Troy Baker has voiced Batman, Joker, Robin, and Two Face (and I'm still probably forgetting someone)? Baker is so talented that he can probably voice every character of a game and it would sound genuine.

You're right. You know how I know you're right? Because it was mentioned right here on this very page in this very article. Nice detective work though, I almost learned something.

Hey, smartass, did you know that Chris can edit these articles at any time and has done so in the past?? So isn't it possible that when i posted this comment, 3 days ago mind you, that little piece of info wasn't in the article and now is. Or can your brain of a 6 year old child not think of that?
Besides, that wasn't even the point of my comment the guy was just saying that this casting makes him the first person to voice Bats and Joker, all I was saying was that this wasn't anything new, it became so when he played Joker in Arkham Origins as he had voiced as Batman before that. Just like it's not a new info that Ben Affleck is the 1st person to play both Superman as well as Batman, which was new last year, not now.

Argument started for a stupid reason. Stop wasting your time debating on something so dispensable

It should've been Anthony Ruivivar as Batman (the actor who voiced Batman in Beware the Batman).

Should've been? Baker was already playing Lego Batman since the second one. It doesn't make any sense to recast him...

Well I didn't know that. Pardon my ignorance.
That aside, Anthony Ruivivar is a better Batman voice actor than Troy Baker. And since Beware the Batman ended and stuff I really want to see more or Ruivivar's Batman in other media.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Troy Baker cannot play The Joker AND Batman! That's...it's....just, not right. It's time to start another fan petition. I'm sure that Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment, will listen. Baker needs to be removed. Batman needs to be recast. This can't be allowed! He just isn't the correct fit, for the role.

Why? He is a very talented voice actor, and he did a good job as Mark Hamil's successor which is very big achievement if he is even mentioned as being almost as good as a legend. Plus, he voiced Bats in Lego Batman 2 which was fine.
  Unless that was sarcasm.

There's NO WAY that Troy Baker, can successfully voice a fictional character. It's just NOT in him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBz...
