Castro, an Israeli clothing company, just posted their latest ad which features Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's Wonder Woman -- Gal Gadot. Gadot has been Castro's leading model and fashion show host since 2008.
The new ad was shot on May 18th in Gadot's hometown of Tel Aviv, Israel. Just days before she headed back to Israel, Gadot filmed a small scene in Detroit, Michigan for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

This commercial is important for one reason: show all the workout was worthy. She looks in great shape, she will be a terrific Wonder Woman.

agreed, she's still, thin, and she's retained a natural feel without looking too bulky or "I've been working out!", while still being larger, stronger.
Really. the best things she brings to the table are things that geek culture tends to ignore: she has natural charisma, physical presence, she animates any situation she's in with a palpable femininity, not because of her proportions, but how she acts, smiles, etc.
She's fantastic precisely because she can pull off the emotional aspects of Carter's Wonder Woman: passionate, idealistic, compassionate, yet no nonsense, strong willed, even deadly. I think she'll do all of the above rather well.
I have to agree that she's got that spark that is rare. She might just pull WW off. I shall reserve judgement from this point on. Let's hope she and her director shock us all.

Israel, like China, is a beautiful ethnostate, and they are proud of their own beautiful people. Israel and China both have wonderfully practiced positive eugenics system, in which their best and brightest have many beautiful children like Ms. Gadot. Every person I know who's been to Israel remarks on how stunningly beautiful the young people are there, and how MANY young people there are, as the people there have lots of sex and make lots of babies.
They are the complete opposite of every Western country.

the japanese have similar problems. I think it is due to sexualization being more and more removed from actual meaningful human contact (and instead is more casual and more commercialized), also, such cultures have strong fears of over population and have done much to culturally curb the values associated with having children and the nuclear family compared with past states within the same cultures. Mobility and independence are held out as valued far and above the value of multi-generationalism or legacy. This is why hispanics and Arabs, as well as Indians, all reproduce at much much higher rates despite a lot of stress.
BTW: is it really "eugenics" when there isn't actual sterilization, forced pairing, controlled reduction on breeding of minorities... etc? Are you just being ironic by associating a term that was often used by anti-semites and using so vaguely that it barely fits while applying it to Jews and then waited to see if anyone noticed that you incredibly if subtly rude? You like throwing around 12$ words, even when insulting people, but I don't think this one fits at all unless you're just being sneaky about how you're being nasty.

There is "positive eugenics" and "negative eugenics". The former is encouraging procreation by people deemed more valuable (beautiful, smart, productive) the latter is discouraging procreation by people deemed detrimental (unproductive, violent, etc.)
I don't want to carry on about their current applications in Israel and China, and I'd guess that many people would simply re-define and obfuscate no matter what, but by any honest measure, both countries have been very scientific and very observant and proactive about their nations' procreative trends for several decades. (Both positive AND negative.)
I know that Japan (and Korea) also have serious birthrate issues. Japan now sells more adult diapers than baby diapers. Like in the US and England, it's not merely that they're not procreating....they don't even want to fuck in the first place. I personally think that systemic hormonal depletion is the primary cause, but I'm definitely not certain of that.
Yeah, it is interesting when you control for race, and I believe that such studies always should do so. If you removed Arabs and Indians from the "White" race, I would be willing to bet that whites are well below even the Japanese in the birthrate: if it's low WITH those peoples who have tons of children, it stands to reason that it would be miniscule without them.
I know that the most common name in England is now "Mohammad", that whites in USA schools have been the minority for years, and that the majority of children in Stockholm, Sweden don't speak Swedish as their native language (this is the children). If these studies would be controlled for race, yeah, it's very safe to say that whites probably have less sex and make fewer kids than even the Japanese.

Her face is otherworldly, with the most engaging and intelligent eyes ever. She's gonna be a radiant, brilliant wonder woman. Bats and supes will compete over her like she's helen of troy, except she'll also posses the power and poise of cleopatra. It'd be ironic if Lois Lane is the one to discover the Amazons, considering that wonder woman will command the full attention of all males- Clark Kent included.
I can see her as either a white or a tan Wonder Woman now. I was leaning more toward the tan Wonder Woman for her before based on her pictures and videos. I can see her depicting the Diana personality well outside of battles. Then how she's going to do her battle mode I wonder, so that can be good as she shifts between the two. I wonder how a real Goddess (definitive Goddess, not Greek) would do that too, if you read the East Indian scriptures they get into battles with demonic entities, to where they get into the battle mode, but when they're not in battle they're very serene, sophisticated, still, with meaning, and balanced. Their battle mode could be more abstract and could be of a different temporary manifestation of a completely different nature like becoming something different entirely. Whereas with a lot of warriors they're more rubbery without that much intelligence and always in the mode, or atleast how they're depicted depending. Wonder Woman deserves very good writing, and there's so much they can do with Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman isn't just a warrior, and the other women on the island have also been given more balanced lives to where they do a lot more broader learning also with much better genetics, especially those that are Greek Goddesses and partial Greek Goddesses in blood. She could switch between white and tan depending on the movie or whatever instead of just sticking to either shade. As far as battle mode for Wonder Woman, she does lots of planning and strategy with communication with the rest of the team so she may not be in such a narrow minded mode. She's trained for over 1000 years and time moves slower for her to where she gets the most done in each second so it's not necessarily about quickness, but instead taking into account timing things with strategy where she's focusing on a lot of things at the same time. It's like the moments stand still and she takes control of them. The other superheroes may lack this finesse because they don't have the millennia plus years of training she has from Goddesses, Gods, experts, and higher beings. If they follow comic canon to a good degree Batman may have some similar qualities because he did training with a Goddess like being at a mystical temple where time moves a lot slower in his 40s. He went into a fountain of youth there that brought him back to his internal prime age of 30s to age year to year after that to 31, 32, 33, 34, if he's gone through that experience yet in the movies or if he'll go through that experience in the movies. That's where in the comic books where he's now in his best fighting and thinking shape because of that training. If you can see how they show Black Widow from Iron Man 2 and Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier, and how they do Captain America and Winter Soldier in Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier they need to get her scenes better than that as far as action goes. But she's also doing a lot of other things in battle. Captain America is a great team leader who can lead armies, and Winter Soldier is a specialist. The actor for Captain America really evolved his physique, physical ability, and choreography for Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier. Will they take Wonder Woman to new levels to where they can really get her to go beyond to be one of the best set of movies of Greek mythology that's a mix of so many different things since she's interacted with futuristic beings on Earth over a millennia ago, she's interacted with Gods and Goddesses personally, and she's interacting with a lot of things in the modern world. The Gods and Goddesses she interacts with are Greek level Gods and Goddesses that are fictional. In current DC canon Wonder Woman is a Greek Goddess at 100% blood, where her mother is Hippolyta, and her father is Zeus that she doesn't know for most of her life that Zeus is her father. Greek Gods and their Greek mythologies from what I understand are an amalgamation of superhumans, extraterrestrials, and higher physical beings that interacted a lot with Earth. DC's Wonder Woman's stories are also an amalgamation of this. Wonder Woman has a futuristic flight vehicle if they keep that in there. It can fly a lot faster than she can. That can be based on advanced extraterrestrial technology to where the Greek Gods and Goddesses may have learned of it for this physical reality but they don't use it that often. They had her use it since she'd need to use it. With flying for her she might only use it to a degree because she doesn't want to use up her magic energy. She might use her magic energy in a very balanced way. She has a lot of interesting abilities if they put her character together well. Her magical abilities are a lot different than Zatanna, and they may bring Zatanna into Justice League Dark that they've been talking about.

No, not that. I've seen her in Fast 5 and I liked her acting and also her looks, the way she looks now in this commercial, I would say that her looks are fine for Wonder Woman. I just hope they do the costume right! But for the rest, I would say I am very much looking forward to the movie.

In the article they mention "before she headed back to Israel". I don't think this is true.
She filmed her scene and left. When it's time for her to film more scenes she'll go back. They have these new inventions called airplanes that allow people to travel from one city to another.

She shot a scene in Detroit on May 16th and then headed back to Irael to shoot this commercial on the 18th. She'll be back! She probably doesn't have as big of a part as Henry Cavill or Ben Affleck so her schedule is a bit more flexible.
I think she's back already. She filmed this commercial for a day. She did her scene, went to film this commercial and then flew back to Detroit. That's dedication for you.
