'Batman: Assault on Arkham' box art revealed, new clip from 'Son of Batman'

Warner Bros. revealed the box art for their upcoming animated movie Batman: Assault on Arkham today. The new movie is due out this summer and is set within the same universe and continuity as the Batman: Arkham video game series. It will feature Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman with Troy Baker reprising his Batman: Arkham Origins role as the Joker. In case you missed it, check out the trailer below.

Warner Bros. also released a new clip from Son of Batman which features Batman and Robin confronting Dr. Langstrom and taking on a gang of Deathstroke's ninjas. Son of Batman is available for Digital Download now. It will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on May 6th. Check out the full Batman News review.

It makes sense that it takes place between Arkham Origins and Arkham Asylum because of the Suicide Squad references in Origins and Blackgate.

Except Deathstroke isn't in it.

That said, this looks like a pretty original movie. Never seen the Suicide Squad get much attention outside of the comics (which I'm not too familiar with. I've read the Suicide Squad #1 from back in the day, but other than that....) . They're in Arrow now, were referenced in Arkham Origins and Arkham Origins: Blackgate, and now they're getting an animated movie centered around them.

I wouldn't be surprised if a suicide squad game were in the works, given the references included in AO and AO blackgate.

    no more by Rocksteady. they did say that WB Montreal might make another game in the Arkham Origins timeline, hopefully a Suicide Squad game.

I feel you, bro. It seems everyone at DC hates Deadshot's signature white mask. I can forgive DC for not having him wear the red-white costume with yellow accents though (as pictured below).
