      To be fair the 8 year old is both the grandson of Ra's Al Ghul and the son of Batman. It was fairly expected. I saw it last night, thought the Damian character was perfectly portrayed - exactly how I imagined it. I think the concept of the film was good, story could have been developed better (but that would result in a longer movie). Love the voice, costume and personality of this Batman. Just think things were a bit rushed and somethings were a waste of time. The entire man-bats thing and that scientist/family guy was an addition to the main story line imo I think they could have chosen something else to add to the story rather than that coz at the end of the day the scientist guy didnt really make an impact to the overall story and the core of the film. They could have better utilised screen time.

         They didn't stress this but Damian didn't have a natural birth right? Damian was grown in an artificial womb so that he would be genetically perfect. They didn't stress that but thats why Damian can do what he does.

      Kevin Conroy as Batman, Troy Baker doing a great job as a Hamill-esque Joker, and non-slim Amanda Waller (with her DCU voice-actor, no less) leading the Suicide Squad. Colour me very excited indeed.

      I just hope all the recent exposure for the Suicide Squad leads to DC re-publishing Ostrander's brilliant run. We've already had his 'Deadshot', 'Martian Manhunter' and 'Spectre' (and Gail Simone's 'Secret Sex' is also slated for re-publishing), so I'm hoping it's only a matter of time.

   It wasn't a terrible movie, it just didn't wow me. There are no likeable traits to Damien, Nightwing whines all the time, O'Mara cannot do an angry voice, and the story was just okay. Was hoping for Under the Red Hood levels of awesome.

       I thought this was better because it got a lot more of the characters personalities right then war
       Superman the tough jock
       Wonder Woman...I just hated her in this
       GL is dumb as a rock
       Darkseid not being Darkseid
       Action wise yeah war is better
       But I think this new52 animated universe Batman is an idiot
       Him trying to interrogate the parademon
       Having "studied" superman but then gassing him and try to use a taser on him?
       The fight with Croc in SoB showed no real planning except for the forklift
       While this isn't the characters fault the sudden burst of super strength while fighting the man-bats
       Curious on how he manage to stay alive so long?
       Question: they seemingly changed Deathstroke's origin so is he still Deathstroke or someone new?

                I suppose to each is own. Honestly I just believe the best way to do Deathstroke is simply to do nothing. Let him be nothing more than an assassin as he was created to be. I appreciate the CW trying to introduce him to the public in a creative way, but ultimately it's a bit much. It's also too early. I was hoping he'd appear in Starling in season 5 (to mimic the five years on the island and create a grand finale entrance) I didn't expect him to ALREADY have Rose Wilson in the picture...

             As I've said to many others before. The Justice League has ZERO use for Arrow as they already have Batman. Let's be honest, if Arrow joins, I might as well let Robin join. Assuming Arrow's even accomplished half the feats Robin has. Besides, if you allow both worlds to cross, then you'd be limiting the amount of creativity the CW has. As much as I despise their creativity...it's all they have to keep them afloat. It's bad enough the show is low-budget. Allowing Man of Steel's world to cross it would be a death sentence.

                Of course he'd do it, any actor in Hollywood would be head-over-heals to obtain a role next to the two--THREE most iconic superheroes of all time. I think he'd be worthless. There's nothing he could do that I can't......and what I can do...outweighs anything my colleagues can do. [grins]

       That's the whole POINT of the character. Damian is the exact opposite of Bruce and Bruce is trying to redeem him and bring him to the light. That's what makes it interesting. Who wants another version of the same old Robin story we've already had 3 times? At the end of the day Damian was the most complicated, multi-layered, and interesting character to ever become Robin. His journey from being a murderer to becoming the kid who made the ultimate sacrifice trying to save Gotham was a far more interesting journey than kid's parents die, decides to wear a mask...again.

    Oh gosh, they shitted all over Deathstroke. =_=

    All the voices but Damian and Dick's seemed off to me. They kinda hinted to us some fatherly moments but really, I can't remember any one that didn't feel forced.

    Thalia's romance with Bruce felt just "meh".

    I now hope that Aquaman's animation kicks all the asses this animated movie couldn't. :/

    Son of Batman was AWESOME! The best Batman animated movie, in my humble opinion. Great humor, and the characterizations were all spot on, as far as I'm concerned. Now, I just need an Earth-2 Batman, Hush, Heart of Hush, The Long Halloween, Batman: War Games and of course Catwoman: The Game animated movie.
