Batman vs. Superman filming is right around the corner! Gal Gadot, aka Wonder Woman, was photographed working out in her home country of Israel yesterday before heading to the airport for Detroit. Gadot has been hitting the gym with Henry Cavill's trainer Mark Twight to bulk up for her role. In the gallery below you'll find photos of Gadot at a dinner party from March 27th, and the photos of her working out with Mark Twight in Israel from yesterday.

In related news, Jennifer Garner was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to promote her new movie. Fallon asked how her husband Ben Affleck was doing, and Garner revealed that he leaves for Detroit this Friday. With all of the major players heading to Detroit this weekend, Batman vs. Superman's first day of shooting must be right around the corner!

      this sunday will be best! release a teaser photo of ben and henry. then release other photos later. that photo! on roof top. batman is in front of superman. i imagine the background.
      both are standing on the rooftop of a huge building. sky is grey. because of dark cloud. like very destructive and powerful storm is coming! there is smoke on the buldings. huge. black. so depressed and scary environment. the shot is taken from helicopter. we can't see batman or superman's eyes. we just can see both are there. can't see even there costume design. there is a serious distance from the camera and the rooftop. wow! this will be a teaser poster. color will be grey and black maximum.

        latino review said holly will be thompkins. or play thag type character. can be gordon's wife. thompkins also. mulvey can be metallo. he will be fantastic. i don't have any idea about okamoto. probably cadmus or star lab character.

        I've heard that too.. I love Tompkins, she's perfect for this movie - plus I always have said that Mulvey would be Metallo, and I'm hoping I'm right! :D

    I'm not asking for a female bodybuilder, but it wouldn't have hurt them to make her more believable. I thought WB was all about realism in comic book movies.

      Breasts are not it, either. Most people would've been content with someone that looked like a female warrior, not a model. Even if WW has super strength, she still faces enemies that equal her in power, so she should have at least some sign of preparation, that she's had to use her ability to the fullest. Gadot doesn't look like someone who's had to face Greek gods and beasts, not even remotely.

        That's the cherry on the cake; if Gadot had an acting resume, people would at least understand somewhat. But even THAT is as dubious as her physical qualifications.

  she is in very very good shape. she has more time to better. and this is not skinny. she looks so beautiful. queen! i imagine her as wonder woman and it is awesome. just imagine her in wonder woman costume. she will look great with ben and cavill. wow!

On another note, Jesse Eisenberg starts filming American Ultra on Monday, with filming intended to wrap in June. I am assuming that after that he'll head over to Detroit as well for his role as Lex. :) I am still curious to know if he'll be bald.

      Well Jesse being bald certainly differentiates him from his other roles. Mostly of his performance of Mark Zuckerberg of which I think people will compare him to. I still hope he'll gain a little bit weight. He's quite skinny… Not that he has to be muscular much, but a few pounds won't hurt :P

I think its clear now they're not even going for a muscular looking W.W... Which is cool to me, I never got caught up in the fact that she wasn't big enough for the role but, if they wanted her to bulk up she would have by now...

  She's been trying obviously, but women can't build muscle like men can. Its possible, but it'll take a lot more than 5 months to happen. It takes women twice as long to develop a muscular build. Her training isnt over yet. Esp if she's going to be around for the Justice League movie as well as the her own solo movie. the gal's gonna be training for years to maintain the right physique for the WW character.

I think she looks great as it is, she looks lean and healthy and I think that will work in its own right, it sounds as If Cavill and Affleck will be powerhouses and that's good enough for me.

  I say the same thing about Superman. His power comes from the sun, not muscle mass. Yet people always want him ripped too. I don't get it. It doesn't even make sense that Superman could build muscles. He'd have to work out with battleships or something to build mass and somebody would probably see that and tell on him.

  She's a WOMAN. It'll take a lot longer than 5 months to see the muscle definition. It's there, just not clear. The important thing is that she's gained body mass and looks more like a woman. Lol

As much as I would like to see some pics, they are not releasing anything anytime soon. Affleck is far from being in shape and they wont release pics of the suit unless its with him in it. And besides the movie comes out in 2016, we're in 2014

    If that were the case then Gal Gadot wouldn't be necessary for the shooting. They're most likely going to start shooting the actual "costume" scenes and the pictures will be released late April or early May to avoid some amateur leaked photo ruining the suit reveal for them. Also, it may not be the overall body but given the fact that Henry was sporting 16 inch biceps I believe, in Man of Steel...it's safe to assume Affleck's 17 inch biceps are definitely not "far from being in shape".

      She could still be there for those scenes. This is an elder Batman, so Gadot could be there right away.

        Oh yea, it's completely possible. However I doubt they're calling Gadot all the way from her home just to shoot a couple of scenes. They're most likely going to start shooting the action scenes which include the costumes already OR they will begin screen testing the suits.
