First look at Selina Kyle and the Wayne family in new 'Gotham' set photos

The latest batch of Gotham set photos give us our first look at the Wayne family and David Mazouz as Bruce, as well as Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle. Even at a young age, Selina is sporting a familiar Catwoman outfit. There's even a photo of Mazouz goofing around on set with a Batman mask. Spoiler alert -- Mr. and Mrs. Wayne probably won't be in too many episodes. Check out the new Gotham set photos in the gallery below.

Update: Yesterday FOX/Warner Bros. revealed the first official photo of Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, and today they just released the first official photo of Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle.

Selina Kyle/the future Catwoman (acting newcomer Camren Bicondova): Selina is a teenage orphan who is suspicious and wholly unpredictable. A street thief and skilled pickpocket, she’s dangerous when cornered.

        i think that it would actually be cool if bruce had a meancing dog that he uses in special cases as batman, for intimidation, recon and distraction purposes, (and an extra pair of ears that can pick up what batman can't) it wouldn't look too unrealistic, after all, the police has a k9 unit, the military also have specially trained dogs for recon missions and also attack purposes, just my thoughts.

The death of the parents scene is always a scene that needs to hit the feel system. Its going to be hard to achive it, since i really liked what they did with that in Begins. The kid who played Bruce there did a great job showing that amount of pain and sorrow.

Really happy with everything I've seen about this show so far. The only lingering complaint I have is that I really wish DC/WB would create a fully interconnected TV/movie universe a la the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the DC Animated Universe (aka the Diniverse aka the Timmverse).

    Interesting that Hollywood likes to take "13!!!!!" year-old girls, dress them in fishnets, a dog collar, and tight black leather, and have them make aggressive, adult poses....and then pretends that there's nothing sexual about it.

      Meh, I think Gordon's interesting enough to merit a show, his relationship with Batman is obviously of close interest and being a cop he can be tied with virtually any other villain or hero in DC (within reason, obviously characters like Darkseid are unlikely.) Catwoman on the other hand only really interacts with a handful of other characters, (black mask, two face and penguin etc.) and while they could easily throw more characters at her it's going to feel a lot more contrived and unnatural.

So, is the murder of Wayne's parents going to be somewhere near the beginning of the series? Possibly in the pilot? That's kind of a shame. I was hoping they'd be used a little more, perhaps developed through the first season and killed off in the finale. Seems a bit of a waste.

        Exactly. I hope whoever it's aimed at enjoys it. I hope it's aimed at me, because I really do want to enjoy it. Batman is my favourite. Plain and simple. I hope it does well. There's nothing worse than getting into a series only for it to be cancelled. There's nothing I want more than an epic Gotham City saga, or whatever. I just don't want references as half-arsed foreshadowing, because it's bullshit. It's broad and completely unnecessary.

        I have this system where I wait until season 2 before I jump into a series. I figure by then the rough start is over, it's not just a season wasted investment, & early plot threads start coming together more.

Honestly, how many fucking times do we need to see Thomas and Martha get shot? I think literally everyone on earth knows how it goes at this point. After Zero Year, I'm not sure there are anymore interesting ways to do it, and if you're just doing it to get it over with, I'd rather it wasn't in there at all.
Of course, I'm an idiot to be complaining. Batman fans have it better than fans of almost anything ever.

  Or, alternatively, why not start out with a younger Bruce and give his parents a chance to grow as characters over a season or two before the inevitable happens? They've been, more or less, glossed over on the big screen. Give us a chance to care about them as more than just Bruce Wayne's dead parents. Just for a change. A TV show would be perfect for that. They could have been just as interesting and important a pair of characters as Gordon or anyone else, for a while at least.

      Apparently not. It makes me wonder exactly what it is they're going for with this. I guess we'll see. I really don't wanna be a negative Nancy. I do hope the picture of baby Bruce with the Batman mask is just on-set japes, and that he's not actually going to have a little Batman mask because, judging by little Selina Kyle, I wouldn't put it past them at all.

    Not really sure what would be the point of going that route. It's the murder of his parents that make Bruce what he is. I don't think showing a season of two or Bruce and his parents adds to anything that isn't already known or assumed. Besides anything else relevant to the events at hand can always be shown in flash back later.

      Yes, it's the murder of his parents that make Bruce what he is, I just don't see why they should jump on that straight away when there's serious potential for some great drama. I just think expanding their roles in Gotham could give the impact of their death and, ultimately, Bruce's fate that much more depth than killing them off immediately and showing them in flashbacks again.

        It's not just the murder of Bruce's parents that make him what he is, but the fact it remains an unsolved crime. That's where Nolan really screwed up, by having Joe Chill captured the same night, and serve 15 or 20 years of jail time. That's the domino effect as to why Bruce spent the next two movies looking for a way to quit being Batman--- the motivation is gone by having the murder solved the same night it happens.

    People who read the books knew Stark would die by the end of the first season, it doesn't make it any less beautiful or heartbreaking. We got to know him through Sean Beans terrific performance, got to see his relationship with his wife and sons... it kicked the family into gear for the rest of the series in a way that wouldn't be as tragic if he died in the first episode.

    Some would. But Snyder did a rare thing of giving it a meaning other than it motivating him to do what he does. He made it about Bruce's failures, and how his actions have consequences that tend to destroy everything he cares about by paralleling it with him realizing he's partially responsible for the city being flooded. They've used the guilt he feels in the past, but it's never really been given much weight or particularly amounted to anything. Whether you like it or not, they definitely at least succeeded in figuring out a new way to use it that actually holds water.

In the pilot episode , Bruce's parents get killed ( we don't know who or why ).
In season 1 as Gordon investigates the Wayne murders we get to know through flashbacks the relationship between Bruce and his parents, Thomas Wayne's doctor life and some secrets about Wayne Enterprises will emerge. Thomas thought he could control his own company . But he was wrong.....
