    Well its only two years, just focus on other movies until you see the MOS2 trailer and you can make your mind up then if its good or not.

      I'm excited at the aspect of Batman being represented more like his comic book counterpart. I also don't think sheeple is necessarily the right insult. People are just excited.

      Honestly, I don't get why people are jizzing themselves already. What exactly has Snyder and co shown that this is going to be kickass? Especially for people who weren't huge on MOS. If you liked MOS, it makes sense to be pumped. But otherwise, the casting choices have been very odd, and nothing really of note has been given a press release, so yeah... forgive me for not wetting myself.

      I didn't say that. But I've noticed the comment section on this site tries to be optimistic.
      I have liked is Dawn of the Dead remake. 300 and Watchmen were excellent adaptions. Man of Steel did tap into a lot of mythology and origins of the character. I mean, I thought it was better than half of Marvel Studios' movies. Odd yes, but I can see where he's going. For the most part, Snyder is very spot on with his castings. But I totally understand where you are coming from.

      I agree Marvel has taken a lot of missteps too, but I don't feel like Snyder has done that great, either, which is where we disagree. He absolutely ruined Watchmen, imo. It was pretty much the embodiment of a soulless Hollywood movie. I know this argument has been made a million times, but that movie and therefore Snyder, is more style over substance.
      And don't get me wrong, I hope to god I am wrong and that this movie coming out is at least good, but I personally am not holding my breath. After hearing that Aronofsky was originally slated to do "Batman Begins," I would much, much rather him take care of DC movies than Snyder.

      Meh. I respectfully disagree on Watchmen. It's more of the writers job to bring substance. He's just working with what he has. It's the directors job is to bring the material given to him to life. It's like comparing two types of music genres. Like It irks me when people say tech death metal has no soul. There's so much precision and thought put into it that there is so much heart felt. Is it flashy? absolutely. But I think that gives much substance as well. Aronofsky would make it a hard R. And I would love that.:3

      What did you think was going to happen? This is a Batman website. This site's primary coverage right now is this movie. Most people read this site because they want news on this movie. Obviously a lot of people are going to disagree with you.
      You have every right to not care about the movie all you want. But stop acting surprised that people disagree with that stance. If I went on a Marvel website and talked about how much I hated The Avengers I would expect plenty of people to disagree and wouldn't sit there crying when it happened.

      Did I say I hated this movie or even Ben Affleck (full disclosure, I hate the casting choice, but I'm willing to watch the film before I give a final verdict)? No.
      Apparently, being skeptical of this film BECAUSE I am a Batman fan means heresy or something. I don't get why people think it's a bad thing. If we all got boners over every super hero movie blindly, Hollywood would churn out a lot more films like Green Lantern. I that what you people want?! (half kidding/half serious...)

The only thing I am afraid of is, no matter how amazing his performance as Batman turns out to be, people will still say Bale is better. I have a feeling Ben will be the quintessential Batman.

    Bale was okay. His bat voice was horrendous. He hasn't been on the screen yet. And if anyone's at fault. It's the director of Batman and Robin. Had he been given a better script and such, he could have been better. Affleck is pretty solid to me, he's also a down to earth guy.I think you just have too many dicks in your ass, which is fine, I'm not here to judge. But you seem a little biased.

      Lol, I think Bale's Batman voice is something you either love or hate. I personally love it.
      And at this point, I think it's hard to argue that Affleck is a superior actor, at least in my eyes. Bale's track record for outstanding movies and performances is much better than Ben's. Bale is very good at dramatic roles (which is what Nolan's movies needed) but maybe Ben will be better at more "comic booky" or lighthearted scenes. Only time will tell.

      Bale is good, don't get me wrong. But there's so many interpretations of Bats, I think the idea is to get the Grant Morrison styled Bats for this one. I do enjoy the noir styled bats, but those movies took a lot away from what makes Batman so interesting and cool. Hell yes they are good movies, but I believe that can deliver a good, if not, better Batman.:D

  I have no problem with anybody saying Bale is better. He likely will be. I find it hard pressed to think there will ever be a better Batman than Bale. Not being as good doesn't mean bad though. I'd bet last year's Heat team couldn't beat the 96 Bulls but they're both champions.
