on WB Games reminds everyone that 'Batman: Arkham Origins' story DLC is coming (update)

Update: Check out the great video breakdown above from Batman Arkham Videos, highlighting what we can expect to see from this Mr. Freeze inspired story DLC.

A special Batman: Arkham Origins announcement was promised for New Year's Eve, but the crew at WB Games Montreal must have had a bit too much fun celebrating. We didn't get anything yesterday, but today they reminded everyone what they announced last September -- an all-new story campaign is coming to Batman: Arkham Origins via DLC.

Based on the photo they released today, it looks like Mr. Freeze will be involved. No additional details were given, so stay tuned to Batman News for the latest.

    I was holding out for an Arkham game announcement, but some Mr. Freeze DLC will do nicely!

    After hyping up everybody with an announcement for yesterday, they only give us a tease about what villain will star in the DLC. What a bunch of trolls.

    I'm on WB Montrea side on this one.

    They never said they were announcing something brand new. They didn't party too hard and forget anything. They simply let us know what the new DLC was about.

    People gettin all pissed because a new game wasn't announced is ridiculous.

    Can't wait. Chris, stop using the game glitch excuse and write a review! You said you finished the story so review it!

      The story and gameplay were amazing. Just as good, if not better than Arkham City. Unfortunately I played the game on the Xbox 360 and experienced a number of glitches that prevented me from enjoying it as much as I should have.

      Dec 31st came and went with no announcement. And then they put up a pic the next day with no actual info whatsoever? I think people have a right to be annoyed.

    Paul Dini wrote "Heart Of Ice" and "Arkham Asylum" and "Arkham City" thats why the animated series is referenced in the games

    Using "Batman and Robin" things in here would be poetic justice for the worst game out of the Arkham series.

    One of the key relationships? Let's speculate:
    - Batman & Alfred - likely.
    - Freeze and his wife - not worth a dlc.
    - Batman and Robin - not the time yet.
    - Batman and Gordon - was already explored enough in the main game.
    - Batman and Batgirl - too soon.
    - Batman and Talia - possible.
    - Batman and Catwoman - I can only hope.

    I think the statue in the photo is just an Easter egg in the actuall DLC for mr freeze

    So...about that DLC.. >.> Some kind of trailer or...any word about it at all from WB would be cool now...a month and a half later and almost half a year after the game came out..
