The Hollywood Reporter claims that Jason Momoa is in talks to join Batman vs. Superman. Due to all of the secrecy around Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel, THR isn't positive as to what role Momoa is up for. They speculate that he could play Martian Manhunter or Doomsday.

Earlier this week we learned that Batman vs. Superman will feature two villains from the Superman universe, and Warner Bros. is reportedly eyeing Callan Mulvey for one of them.

Jason Momoa is best known for playing Khal Drogo in the first season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, as well as Conan in 2011's Conan the Barbarian.

    KEEP MOMOA AWAY FROM THE FILM!!!!!! Personally, i dont like him as a actor. And you remeber the rumor about Harry Lennix been actually Martian Manhunter? Because i remember.

    I agree with SnakeJerusalem! But i hope he's wrong! NO MORE JL characters for Gods sake!!! Its supposed to be an Man Of Steel sequel!!!!!! If Jason is going to be in the movie, just give him a villian role....
    Just dont F it up!!!

      Now that would make for a good story. But with Snyder in charge, I've a feeling he'd mess it up. The only reason that Watchmen and Sin City were good was they were based completely on excellent books. Man of Steel though wasn't and to be fair, while the start was excellent, it ended ever so poorly. Snyder needs to get this just right.

    I am really excited for this movie, however I almost feel as though they keep adding people just to add them until fans are happy and quit complaining. For instance now all complaints off of Affleck and are on Gal Gadot. This already feels inflated with Batman alone. And by all means I am a Batman fan first and foremost

    I have no problem with this. I've only seen the guy in Game of Thrones and he did well in that but I don't know if that's saying much. His character didn't really do much if I remember correctly.

    Does nobody else consider that this might be our Lex Luthor? Bryan Cranston is a rumor. Mark Strong is an obvious choice. This guy came out of nowhere. I can see him as Lex if he shaves his head.

    If they were going to do Doomsday, wouldn't he need to be a CG character? Why would you get somebody like Momoa to play him? Doomsday is not a person. He's not going to talk to anybody. He's a giant, mindless monster. I'd think for Doomsday they could just use the same guy who played Non in MoS who was just a normal sized guy with a stick on his head.

    I think the guy looks like the spitting image of Darkseid myself. I could imagine him easily with that stupid blue helmet on.

      Well, i think they will adapt 'All American Boy' there, what is a US Soldier what joing a governamental experience what transform him,basically, in a Doomsday with Kryptonite bones, This interpretation on screen should alloud showing the process of the soldier trying to do good becoming the mindless killing machine, what open possibilities to use him as Luthor's POV to Superman. Also, All American Boy appear on 'Searching for Kryptonite', one of the story arcs what Cavill read to prepare himself to do Superman, and major influence at the scene of the Battle of Smallville em MOS. But its just me especulating.

      If they don't announce him to be Vandal Savage, and announce him as another justice leaguer just ruin the universe. Vandal Savage would be the perfect villain, maybe "teamed up" with luthor, manipulating the whole thing. when he can't best superman and batman , by pinning them against one another starts the legion of doom (end credits; giving a speech to shadow followers). Best part is they could think he was killed or what not but don't know he is immortal.

    I can see Martial Manhunter but Doomsday needs to be done with CGI like Hulk was. No one really likes Hawkman. There's better characters than Martial Manhunter but he does add interesting story to the Justice League. Hulk and Thanos for Marvel are being done with CGI. I'd say the same for DC's Darkseid. Those are the only villains of DC I think need to be done with CGI. They can do motion capture for Martian Manhunter with an actor like him. Brainiac has looked human so I think they'd use motion capture with him with an actor. Bizarro? If you're going to make Solomon Grundy weaker then he doesn't need CGI, but if you're going to make him the ultra powerful version then he does need CGI. CGI is where they make the character entirely different than an actor while motion capture still goes with the overall appearance of the actor while it has CGI. Avatar did motion capture and so will Guardians of the Galaxy except the tree guy and the raccoon guy are all CGI with an actor's voice for them.

    I personally don't care for him being Lobo but he's better than a lot of choices. I think there's better choices for Lobo. Lobo could also be a CGI character. He's got a very broad build of a bigger person. He's too much of an ectomorph build for Lobo and I was thinking more along the lines of a white biker type (a person that is white skinned), but not a "white person" as you'd want the opposite of that since they always go to that extreme meaning not Mark Zuckerberg white. Don't make Lobo Mexican and don't make Lobo part Mexican. I could be wrong after looking at some of his other videos. I saw one picture where he looked like he had white skin that would fit Lobo more. He looks bigger built in his other videos but Lobo is a lot more broad than he is. One problem I see with him is that he isn't relatable which is a major personality trait of Lobo. I can see him most likely being either Lobo or Martian Manhunter. He'd be great as Martian Manhunter and audiences might like him as Lobo though it's not nearly the best Lobo I see. But based on your choices of actors it's better than most. If audiences do like him as Lobo it's for much different reasons than what I'd personally like to see for Lobo and what other people may like to see for Lobo, but then which would be the more marketable choice I don't know. Which version of Lobo for the movies would be more popular with the audiences I don't know. You can do that with Aquaman if you're going to include them but DC fans might be picky about Aquaman, same with Flash. His personality seems way too young for a Lex Luthor. I don't like the idea they're looking for a "black guy" for Lex Luthor. While I can see some African American guys being good for Lex Luthor I can see a lot not working at all for his character. In a lot of cases I can see a white guy doing a much better job for the role but I could be wrong and their choice could be really good. Dwayne Johnson would be a good choice for Lex Luthor if they write him right and he's part African American.

    I'm sorry but at this point its becoming too much. It seems to me like they are just doing a Justice League movie but with no build up too it which means its going to be very crowded and hard to follow for your casual movie fan. Why can't they just stick with the Batman and Superman storyline and leave everyone else out till next film? It's just getting way too full of a film now and for someone as big of a fan as I am, my extreme excitement for this is starting to fade.

    Really excited for this film! They're setting up so many characters and I have no problem with it. People keep saying it's a hidden Justice League film and all that silly stuff. Do you really think they'd announce it as a Superman and Batman film and slowly build up to a Justice League? If anything, they'd drop the anvil at once and say this is Justice League instead of cushioning the announcement. Plus would all the potential film names only have a Batman reference in them? Or how about only the World's Finest logo showing up at Comic Con? C'mon people, I highly doubt these characters will have major roles. This is all a matter of 'world' building.

      Exactly. Just because these people are going to appear doesn't mean they are going to have substantial roles. We're most likely talking roles like Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye in Thor for 2 scenes.

      And even if WB really was "secretly" making this a Justice League movie, what in the blue blazes is wrong with that??? That would be the greatest "secret" in my lifetime. I'd pee in my pants if that happened. What kind of DC comics fan wouldn't want to see that happen? How is that a bad thing? It's nuts.

        I really like this idea, having Superman Vs. Batman lead directly into Justice League is a great idea if you ask me.

        Even if it were a JL movie, WB marketing would blow it out of the water and promote it as a JL movie...not Batman vs. Superman.

      I agree. Same happened with TDK and TDKR. People started wondering/whining about all these known actors, and they ended up having small roles in the actual finished product. Sometimes I truly wonder the age range of people coming in here... No offense.

      As much as I love Manhunter (one of my favorites actually) I don't think that the general movie watching audience would know or want to see it. People don't know him as well as Batman, Superman or whoever else.
      Don't get me wrong, I'd crap my pants if they announced a MM movie, but I doubt it would happen.
