'Man of Steel' Q&A featuring Zack Snyder, Henry Cavill, and Amy Adams to stream live on Yahoo

Batman vs. Superman director Zack Snyder, Henry Cavill (Superman) and Amy Adams (Lois Lane) will be participating in a special fan Q&A this Saturday, November 9th at 9am PT/12pm ET. The Q&A will be hosted by Kevin Smith so you know things will be interesting! Smith is a good friend of Ben Affleck's and he's also a huge comic book geek, so he'll probably ask some great questions of his own. I expect we'll hear a few small details about Batman vs. Superman during the live stream. At the very least, I think this would be the perfect platform to announce the official title!

Update: According to a press release from Warner Bros., the cast and crew will be discussing "what the future holds" for Superman during the live stream. We can definitely expect to hear a lot more about Batman vs. Superman!

I'd like to hear why you think he is awful? Fair enough if you dislike his work but he does a ridiculous amount for his fans, most of which is free. I'd say as a person hes the total opposite of awful.

  I don't know I'm pretty excited about Smith being there with Henry and Amy. I don't always love Kevin Smith but I've read the original script he wrote for that failed Superman movie back in the 90's (where WB ruined it) and it was a really good script with strong charaterization for both Clark and Lois Lane with a great take on Death of Superman. It's no secret that Smith met his wife when she came to interview him and that he considers his wife his real life Lois Lane. How is Smith interviewing the actors playing Superman and Lois Lane anything other than fun? And yes---Smith is friends with Affleck which means he likes Ben in the role. I don't have a problem with that.

    Yeah, Bale was a pretty good Batman AND Bruce...a lot of people only consider the cape and cowl, but it's just as important to be able to pull off the man behind it as well. And I've heard some super, SUPER rumors that Affleck is actually considering directing a Batman film or two after Superman Vs. Batman which could be promising.

  Seriously, Routh? Henry Cavill is by far the better choice. While it would be interesting to see Affleck in the director's chair, I thought Snyder did great job with Man of Steel and he should get the chance to direct the sequel. I'm more interested in seeing Affleck direct a Batman film to be honest.

In wich th 2 guys playing Supes did as good a job as they could have with the material given ! Routh and Cavill were good ! The screenplays and directors let them down . IMO . Valar Morghulis

Poor Brandon Routh. It still pisses me off the way he got screwed over. Routh was absolutely born to play a superhero. That role should've belonged to him the way it belonged to Reeve.

  Hahaha. This is not a hypothetical situation. Brandon Routh HAS played Superman. I'm not basing my opinion on him from some other role or seeing a picture. I've actually seen him play the role and I loved him in it. I would say his performance in that movie was not only the best thing about the movie, but I'd say it was the best acting performance of anybody who has ever put on that suit. Because not only was he tasked with taking on the role of Superman, he was tasked with playing Christopher Reeve as Superman. He wasn't given the same freedom as Cavill to create his own Superman from scratch. He had to recreate a beloved version of a beloved character based on a beloved actor and he did it perfectly. Had the series continued under new leadership that allowed Routh to develop his own take on the character I think he would've owned that role.

There HAS to be something big being announced. Why on Earth would they bring all these people together to talk about a movie from 6 months ago? Like these 3 people don't have better things to do? Come on. I smell a rat!!

If it's me I have Affleck show up and then Michael Buffer comes out and they do a boxing style weigh in for him and Cavill. Then they pose with their dukes up and have a fake pushing match. But that's just me. Thinking outside the box.

I think it's to promote the release of Man of Steel on Blu-ray, but you're right... bringing these 3 together just for that does seem a bit extreme. That's why I reported on it here on Batman News... I'm expecting some "Batman vs. Superman" announcements.

  When Kevin Smith was hired to write Superman producer Jon Peters told him he had to include a giant mechanical spider in the movie.
  Since that project fell apart Jon Peters would end up forcing his giant mechanical spider into Wild Wild West.

    To be honest, I would have loved that to be filmed. Not becuase I think it would have been good (cause there's no chance it would have been) but because those big Hollywood-Trainwrecks fascinate me to no end.

Can we take a break from Batman and Superman for a minute to acknowledge how amazed I am that I lived long enough to see a time where somebody is making an HOURMAN TV show?

And if all things work out, next season could see Arrow, The Flash, Hourman, Gotham and Amazon all on the air. What awesome times.
