In somewhat of a surprise announcement, it was revealed earlier this week that Batman vs. Superman would be filming this weekend at East Los Angeles College's Weingart Stadium. The movie will shoot during halftime on Saturday, October 19th when ELAC take on Victor Valley College.

Don't expect the football scene in Batman vs. Superman to be anything like what we saw in The Dark Knight Rises. Christopher Nolan needed the entire day to shoot his scene, while Batman vs. Superman director Zack Snyder only plans to shoot for 20 minutes. Weingart Stadium will be made into the backdrop for a football game between Gotham City University and rival Metropolis State University. Batman News has obtained some exclusive photos of the jerseys and uniforms for both teams. Check them out!

        he helped write the Nolan trilogy, he worked in comics, and TV shows like Da Vinci's Demons.
        I'm pretty sure someone over at WB/DC had someone like a Bruce Timm, Frank MIller, or even Geoff Johns help co-write the story

        keyword "helped" and "co-wrote", john nolan wrote 90% of the trilogy. One goyers standalone writers credits is the blade trilogy, and if you remembered it, it was terrible.

        yeah amongst how serious the film took all the people's deaths and pummeled city, just add that line in there that didn't even match the mood.

        it's the fact that it was after it, and all of a sudden the doom and gloomy mood they try to FORCE in a joke that falls flat. no one laughed in the full theater i was in, cringeworthy at best. that is due to terrible writing. and i dont know what dark knight returns has to do with any of what i said.

        did you read anything i wrote? yes you can lighten the mood with comedy, but the jokes they "wrote" in fell flat. that's why the comedy was terrible

        It fit in fine. I've been to death beds, funerals, and 9/11. People talk like that all the time. In fact that's when you hear the most inappropriate jokes. Life goes on.

        I LOVED Man of Steel, but that line was completely unnecessary, along with Lane's line when she kisses Supes and says, "You know its all downhill after the first kiss." Uuuuuugghhh. Both scenes would have hit home harder if they cut those lines.

        i thiink most people didnt get that moment of i think hes kinda of hot.....a month has gone after all that damage and the death of zod and supes been slowly getting people's trust.......a wee bit....for now.

        Yea, he does a lot better when he is working with somebody. But I'm pretty sure WB/DC are going to use everything in their armoury to make this movie work. I'm not at all worried about the story or screenplay, but yea, that one and the thing Clark says during the kiss, really popped out of the movie. And people have noticed it and reacted to it. He will keep that in mind. I feel we are going to get a lot more of those in the next movie, haha. More uniformly spread, you know.

  Grey works unbelievably well with black & gold. My high school, where I now coach football, has always been black & gold, with white used as the accent, and since I came back here I've tried to work grey into everything because it just looks so damn good.

  They did with the jerseys from TDKR. I'd expect the same here, especially since they've been selling licensed UA apparel with comic character logos lately.

Love it ! I didn't have anything against the jerseys in TDKR BUT I much prefer the Black with a hint of yellow than vice versa !
A small Zack Snyder football releated fact he actuly where's a QB play call arm strap while filming with scene info and reference on ! Wich I always thought was realy cool !

Very cool. That's a new uniform design by Under Armour - not just the GCU and MSU designs, but overall construction, which is cool to see being used in this movie. The designs for each team are also nice. As a football fan and a fanboy, I love this combo!

Is it just me or does the Metropolis jersey kind of have a MOS Superman theme going on? I mean, the red obviously, but look at the arms and the silver. Looks an awful lot like the silver on Superman's wrists. Also, the lines down towards the bottom of the jersey come down at an angle, again kind of like how the design of Superman's suit, at the waist, comes down at an angle.

Man of steel was awesome, and I thought there was enough humor against all that seriousness...all I heard were complaints about a city being levelled and supes kills...but what would you expect in a real world superhero movie? 2 gods fighting it out is gonna make a bit of a mess....no?
