20 minute 'Batman: Arkham Origins' preview shows off the Batcave, GCPD, and more (video)

A new 20 minute video preview of Batman: Arkham Origins was released today. We get to see the Batcave, Batwing, Batman infiltrating the GCPD, and more!

The demo starts by giving us a look at the Batcave. When you're in the Batcave you can access challenge maps and a new combat training mode. Batman picks up a new gadget, a concussion grenade, and then makes his way over to the GCPD. Here Batman has to silently take out police officers in a Predator challenge type map, though this one takes place outside. When he makes his way inside we get to see Batman take out corrupt cops with some of his new toys. At the end of the preview it's revealed that Barbara Gordon will be in Batman: Arkham Origins. She's a teenager here, and will play a big part in the game's story.

I think WB Montreal still wants to assuage fears about the game not being produced by Rocksteady. I think releasing game play and highlighting some of the new components of Arkham Origins is a good way to handle that.

  Yeah, But they should not release too much. Remember how many times we seen that opening part of Arkham City and they had audio scrambled. Still excited even more excited to see what Rocksteady is doing.

    We've hardly seen any. Not every assassin has been revealed, we've seen tidbits of the start of the game and we have seen inside the GPD.

there are 8 assassins they only showed 4 deathstroke, deathshot, copperhead, bane and firefly.
the joker, mad hatter, anargy and the penguin are confirmed. But WB Montreal sayed they where no asssassins. So we got altleast 4 assassins left.

Lame, Barbara is cool and all, but Dick needs to show up first... IMO he's Batman's second ally (first is Gordon), not including Alfred of course. And Barbara isn't even all that great of a character, IMO, she was only good as Oracle, Steph and Cass were much more interesting Batgirls.

  Watching this video on arkham city isn't "subjecting myself" to anything. When I said "grow up" earlier a lot of had to do with the fact that you're acting like a voice on a batman game video is the same as seeing the person in real life. If you don't want to associate with them and you'd try to walk away from them in public, that's one thing, but acting like this is a "tranny video" because it just happens to have some commentary by a transexual is ridiculous. It's a batman video.
