DC Comics has our first full look at the Joker from the upcoming fighting video game Injustice: Gods Among Us. The Joker is also featured on the game's box art, but now we get our first good look at him. What do you think? Injustice: Gods Among Us will be available in April 2013 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii U.

This interpretation takes the character back 10-15 years. Not sure why, when they did such a great job with the others, that they dropped the ball here.
I love the way they went back and incorporated a bit of Cesar Romero.

It's just The Joker....

Ugh, same old Joker conception. Why does he always have a tall, skinny look with an over-the-top suit in these games? I mean don't get me wrong I'm used to him like that as a character but it's done to death, it's why I really liked the look of Heath Ledger's Joker, they took the character straight back to his roots there with him not being extremely skinny and wearing a simple, dark purple suit that wasn't over-the-top, I'd like to see that in those video games.
But the whole point of the Joker is that he is over-the-top. That's his thing. He always does the over-the-top plans, it's part of his humor. He's so over the top because Batman isn't (relative to the other Gotham psychopaths, I mean anyone who dresses like a bat is a bit over-the-top) and the Joker is the antithesis of Batman. So if Joker was plain then it wouldn't be the same.
Plus Injustice has been going with all of the normal/comic book looks for the characters because they are trying to appeal to the comic book crowd. If they did a completely different Joker style then they fear they might alienate said crowd.
That's the thing, those people should respect it if The Joker had a not-so-skinny and not over-the-top suit look, it's his classic look, the original look he had, it's pretty interesting that I would think that his classic look would actually be new and fresh right now, so if they're alienated then they can just shut up instead of complaining and stop the BS about being actual comic book fans.
The Joker can be over-the-top just fine with that look, I'm just tired of seeing that same old cheesy suit.

Not a fan of this design. Nightwing and Joker's look seem outdated in this game.
hey chris (who whoever moderates injustice news), deathstroke was just announced. there is a new trailer devoted to his character (it's pretty badass). i don't know about any screenshots, though. hope you can post that soon!
yeah, there was a mega announcement in a gamer magazine from best buy. it covers the plot of the game, and confirms six characters:
