   So I know you have a lot of comics to review, but WTF man? High praise, but give us something more to tease us. :(

      No apology necessary. I was going for impact. I know that I write some of the longest comic reviews around and to just write only 2 sentences suddenly would surprise people. That would definitely show how awed I was and might get the point across better than the usual 1,000+ words of analysis.The guy who won't shut up is suddenly gobsmacked. 
      That was the idea anyway. 
      Plenty more extra-wordy reviews are on the way.

   Completely agree. I'm a HUGE Walking Dead fan and Godzilla: Half Century War fans and somehow this comic just blew them out of the water.

      Just make sure it's half-century war.  The artwork in particular is just jaw-dropping. I'd say it was right up there with this issue of Batwoman.

   I haven't read a single of Batwoman (New 52) but read your anticipation level post and thought I would pick it up.

   My Reaction:  I can understand your short review; that was a fantastic issue.  I came here to see what you had to say about it expecting this type of review (you are always spot on for me).

   Now I have to go pick up the first 12 issues.

       To really get the impact of the story pick up Detective Comics 854-863 (most of which is collected in the Elegy TPB) that is where the story of Beth/Alice takes place, the New52 Batwoman takes place after that

            And to add... reading the New 52 Batwoman issue by issue wasn't that exciting, but reading them back to back for a 2nd read they were great (not quite the level of the Zero issue or Elegy but still very good).

   Yeah, I'm late, but I just read this. The only other Batwoman I had read were the first couple issues of the New 52 series. It's a great (damn near perfect) issue and I'm definitely deep-diving into her lore now.
