I think the new Bane quote adds some fuel to the "Bane is Ras al Ghul" fire.
What if Ras al Ghul was just a title rather than a specific person? Not only would that explain the immortal part, that could mean that there will be 3 different Ras al Ghuls in the trilogy!

Page 5 confirms by theory that Alfred leaves Bruce just like in the Knightfall arc. Bruce insists on becoming Batman again, and Fox helps him but Alfred says "buried too many of the Wayne family" and that he's "failed to protect him." Batman goes missing and Alfred feels guilty.
At least this confirms the teaser that bed-ridden Gordon in the hospital is begging for Batman to come back, but he's telling Bruce, so maybe secret identity not a secret anymore?
Maybe it is but in the credits bale is only credited as Bruce Wayne not Bruce Wayne/Batman. So I can imagine the script just saying Bruce when he is in the cowl

It doesn't mean that at all. It depends on how you look at it. Hasn't Bruce/Batman been willing to sacrifice to protect who he truly loves? Yes and another thing. Doesn't it seem kind of odd how they, Christopher Nolan and WB, are wanting everyone to think that Batman dies? I am not saying it won't happen but it just seems like everyone is going to be thrown for a loop. I don't know how I feel about Bruce or Batman dying at the end of the film but to me its up in the air 50/50. I wouldn't think that Chris Nolan would just hand over that kind of information but I have been wrong before.
I agree BUT I don't see how Nolan can end his trilogy with Bruce Wayne just walking away and retring. Although I guess there could be a possibility that Wayne fakes his death and moves on but with the production notes it seems that Wayne can't live without "Batman" the true face of Bruce Wayne. I mean I love the discussion of the death of Batman. I would love to see what everyone else out there thinks on this topic.
Well Ra's says if you make yourself more than a man, you become a legend. So by that logic, if he shows the world he IS just a man and reveals his true identity..."the legend ends". The notes say he feels as though he's lost his purpose, but maybe throughout the course of the film he finds a new one. One that allows him to move beyond the need to be Batman. One that would have made his parents, and the people of Gotham, proud of what he's done for them.
Damn these next two weeks are going to feel like an eternity.
The bio totally dissed Christian Bale's Oscar award from last year. Even when he turns in his cape and cowl back to the costume department and turns in his parking badge at WB Studios, he has that golden statue to come home to.
After July 20th, it's all downhill from here. WB is already talking about a reboot. Thanks a lot Amazing Spider-man, look what you have done now...reboots every 5 years. I feel old now. Give it a break with a non-cannon Batman Beyond that is free from earlier series. A couple of years later, we'll see a Justice League that is also non-cannon to Batman. By then the public is ready.
Superman has a lot of catching up to do, what a douche, super powers don't mean jack at the box office. Ask Green Lantern, failure to perform a billion dollars, the studio outs you as gay. "Even to a guy like me, that's cold."
Actually there are many different Green Lanterns. The one in the movie was Hal Jordan, and the one that was announced as gay was Allan Scott. And it was DC comics that made the decision, not the movie studios.
I'm not gonna read a 49 page document on the best summer thriller of the year.. I rather watch it in IMAX 3D..

Hey guys do you know who is this girl from trailer 3? Because it may possibly be Joey King, who said that she was the Young Talia Al Ghul. But this footage doesn't look like a flashback... and also Miranda Tate might be Talia al Ghul. Anyone has a hunch?
Im not sure but i think that boy is the one that talks with JGL and i think that he gives like consieling or whatever to the kids that were on the bus when something happened.

I totally called it when Gordon promotes John Blake. Next in command, but in command of what? Ra's al-Ghul taught Batman to fight hundreds of men, now we get to see it finally happen in Rises. The production notes almost gave away too much...waited 4 years, don't want to get blindsided by spoilers at the last minute.
Alfred and Gordon die. Bruce becomes paralyzed and John Blake becomes a new Batman with Bruce helping him. The movie ends with new floodlight beaming to a dark sky. The film just epic
Morgan Freeman has already stated that he lives.
page 20:
"Currents of water were also a main feature of Bane’s base of operations, found in the sewer system beneath Gotham City".
I guess this hints that in the Batman vs Bane fight in the sewers, not only does Bane and his army corner Batman, but they've done it right inside their turf (not just some random section of Gotham City sewer that they've stumbled on while/ prior to fighting).

Ughh. I don't want to read the production notes. I started - got to page 4 - and I found it way too spoiler-ish. They're well written, but damn, they tell a lot of the story. Consider this a spoiler!
Its not really spoilerish I basically knew all I knew before except stunt doubles and how things were done and thats all.
I was already speculative of a lot of the points mentioned here...but that's all I had. Speculation. Now these stupid notes have legitimized all the rumours and put an official stamp on it. I think it was a silly move on WB's part. It's not going to promote more interest for the movie.

Well if they stay faithful to Talia's character, she truly has feelings for Bruce. My guess is that he may not actually be her target...she could be after Bane for wanting to start up his own twist on the League of Shadows and she's not about to let him. I think the twist is that she's NOT a villain, but we'll all expect her to be because of her family ties.

"Shhh, I'm making it up as I go along!" And Gordon doesn't die, because he made it to the hospital. Bane has to die because he's so mean and doesn't play well with others. "He wouldn't be a good villain if he did." "But the other villain, the Lizard saved Spider-man from falling off the building!" "It's Marvel, they don't play by the rules." "Aw f***."
