Update 07/02/12: I've received confirmation that The Dark Knight Rises trailer #4 (aka the Nokia trailer) is attached to The Amazing Spider-Man. Enjoy it on the big screen!

We've already been treated to four full-length trailers for The Dark Knight Rises and it looks like we might be getting one more! The Alberta, Canada Film Ratings website listed "Dark Knight Rises, The (trailer #4)" yesterday with a runtime of 2:13.  With The Amazing Spider-Man opening in about a week, it seems like the perfect movie for The Dark Knight Rises to be attached to.

While the Canadian site has been a great source for trailer news in the past, it's hard to believe we're getting another new trailer. It's possible that this is actually the Nokia trailer that debuted last week, which will be shown in theaters for the first time. Still... it's exciting to think that a brand new trailer may be in the near future. Stay tuned to Batman-News.com for all the latest on this new rumor.

    If it is a brand new trailer and not the Nokia trailer, then it will be awesome.  But hopefully if it's new, it won't give anything away.

        Nolan wouldn't allow too much to be seen so you'd still be able to watch it Remember in 2008 when we thought we'd seen all if TDK?

    ...another trailer? I don't want them to show too much so as not to spoil too many of the movie's scenes but on the other hand GIMME GIMME GIMME, I NEED TO SEE IT NOW. I have a feeling that the next 23 days are going to be the longest 23 days of my life, so it'll be nice to have loads of new TDKR treats to keep me satisfied till July 20th. It's funny that after 4 trailers and nearly ten TV spots that I still have absolutely no idea what the plot is other then Batman comes out of retirement and Bane wanting to destroy Gotham.

    I know I am nit-picking, but the runtime of the Nokia trailer was 2:17 (http://www.youtube.com/watc..., and this trailer seems to have a runtime of 2:13. Therefore, it could be a shorter version of the Nokia trailer (shorter by 4 seconds??), or a brand new trailer altogether.

      Haha. That's for sure. You guys are getting all fired up for a new trailer based on a deviation of 4 seconds runtime? Personally, I think it's silly to read THAT much into it. We've already had 4 separate trailers. I doubt the studio wants to release anything more.

      You're wrong.
      You have to add the 5 seconds to the Nokia trailer not this 2:13 trailer.The Nokia trailer was 2:17.Add 5 seconds to it,you get 2:22.Add 5 seconds to the 2:13 trailer,you get 2:19.It's definitely not the Nokia trailer unless they have cut some parts of it.

       I´ll probably be watching TAS just for the sake of visual entertainment because it seem to have some crazy shots in there, perspective wise I mean. Other than that I doubt the story will drift that much from the previous franchise but I hope I´m wrong...

         It basically criticizes the movie plot while praising the cast and the action scenes.

          Yep! I'll watch it 'cause the 3D and the action scenes look phenomenal. I don't give a damn to what happened to Peter's parents, and i don't like the Ultimate version of SM. Lizard is my favourite SM villain, but he looks terribly designed and his behaviour doesn't please me here: he was never a "intelligent monster", but a unstopable beast.

      tl;dr It looks like the only problems with the movie are the Lizard's characterization and the plot. They said the dialogue and action is great (not to mention that Gwen Stacy and Peter/Spider-Man are very reminiscent of their comicbook counterparts)

      As a side note, I'm still going to see it. I've been a Spider-Man fan since I was in preschool.

        That doesn't mean a thing. Reviewers who are picked to see early screenings tend to be more forgiving over a movie and give it more positive reviews then the movie deserves. That's why, for example, "The Last Airbender" had about a 75 before it's wide-release. (I think it's 6 or 8 atm) hahaha

          True that it doesn't mean a thing. But there's a lot to consider about the Last Airbender thing, like how many reviews, etc. Right now, it's at 17 reviews with 76% and 3 top critics are positive. I predict at LEAST an 80% for the final score.

    The Amazing Spiderman looks like it's going to be incredibly cheesy. Peter Parker is known for his puns and one-liners.  I bet the script has a ton of one-liners written into it. Even in the trailer Spiderman is making wisecracks about "his fear of knives" and pretending to weep. Not my cup of tea, but I'll still see it. Just like I knew Green Lantern was going to be horrible but I saw it anyways because I like those comics-to-film movies.

      Many of Spidey's quips are supposed to be cheesy yet funny. Looks to be about the same (although there will be some cheesy moments, nothing cringe-worthy).

    Why don't WB just realise an hour of the movie online, so that inpatient fans that has watched all the trailers and tv spots can be spoiled some more. It's so desperate of WB to keep on realising bunch of footage just like it's desperate of you guys to keep wanting more, instead of waiting for July 20'th.

    Hmm, the Nokia trailer was an exclusive trailer from Nokia and it's reffered to "Nokia Trailer" on the Dark Knight Rises website as opposed to trailer #4. So I believe that we have a pretty good chance of seeing a new trailer. Having a new trailer is a big boost for marketing, so I don't see why WB wouldn't want to add a brand new trailer to a very popular upcoming movie. But I would be happy anyways to see the Nokia Trailer on the big screen, if we in fact don't get treated to a brand new trailer.

    Hey, we are only 23 days away! So cheer-up people!

    To be honest I would rather rewatch the Nokia trailer on the big screen than to be spoilet a bit more with a new fresh trailer. We´re almost there, it´s not the time to be weak now!

    I hope it's the Nokia trailer. They've given away more than enough info already. Save the rest for the actual movie. There's already a story out about an actress supposedly playing Talia's mother. I just hope they can keep the endings secret. Whether Batman dies or JGL takes over, I'd rather find that out when I'm in the theater.

    I sense more spoilers ahead in this POSSIBLY upcoming trailer... For me, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I'm tired of these trailers which are so HARD to NOT WATCH. I think they are spoiling the experience, especially before watching a highly anticipated movie. I know they're supposed to increase the hype for the movie, so more people see it and they make more money. I wish they could just release the movie already! Unfortunately, that's not happening for another 23 days...

    Even if it's a new trailer I'm sure there'll be hardly any new footage.. may be recompilation of what we've seen already.. But this actually proves that TDKR has a lot to offer, that's why they are not afraid to release one trailer after another and not to mention TV spots

    Some thoughts on dewgothamcity mountain dew sweepstakes.  (Badges don't mean jack)

    So after buying a bunch of mountain dew, or if you work in fast food and swiped a box full of cups when the manager wasn't looking, to get those 500 pts in the first week...you're on the top of the leader board and you have to choose how to spend those points.

    One option is the sweepstakes.  After spending hundreds of dollars on mountain dew, you are offered a "chance" to win some prizes.  Basically, you bought the drinks, drank it all till you're pissing green, and have punched in the codes one by one. all. for. a. lottery.  It helps your odds, but there's a chance that you don't win, that the other person with one point could win that prize.  Bummer.

    The other option is the gear.  After spending hundreds of dollars, you decided best to buy these gears that you can't get anywhere else.  Suddenly, it's monopoly and you can recover some of the soda money if not more if you auction off the gear during the feverish height of the movie release.  Unlike the sweepstakes, the gear is a sure thing, code in gear out.  Life should be that simple.  And the points are reasonable enough, enabling you to get more, much more so you can keep selling.  Capitalism now working in your favor!
