Mistakes I see. "Why do we Fail" title is wrong and "Fear will Find You" is listed twice.
I love this section of Born in Darkness. Very Batman Begins-ish. And I always liked the soundtrack and overall feel of Batman Begins a lot more than The Dark Knight.
THAT WAS A MEANINGLESS 8 MINUTES BECAUSE THE SOUNDS HAVE NO MEANING ATTACHED TO THEM! HOWEVER, I'M GOING TO SEE THE FILM AND AFTERWARD HAVE SEX WHILST MY HANS ZIMMER THE DARK KNIGHT RISES SOUNDTRACK PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND! FUCK YEA, IN NOLAN WE TRUST!!!!

"Why do we fail" - I wonder how that plays in! I wonder if somebody actually says it - or maybe it's a distorted flashback of his father talking to him...
Also - I really hope he visits his parent's graves this time - that's just so iconic batman.
He will. They shot some of that footage over a year ago near Wayne Manor in England I think.
I believe that it would play out in a literal way, "Why do we fall?"
"So we can learn to pick over selves up" - Gonna be a the Rise of batman; as you can also see that the track is near the end!
I've found some t-shirts that say "Fear is why you fail" most of them feature Bane. IDK if that's something cooked up for some of the shirts or if it's actually a quote from the movie. I could see Batman who is near unconsciousness and having a flashback of his father and Batman uttering aloud "Why do we fail?" and then Bane responding with "Fear, Mr. Wayne. Fear is why you fail." and then he breaks Batman's back. Or maybe that's just me being mello-dramatic.
I love what Zimmer has done with the soundtrack so far its similar but has new elements that are pure genius.. Gothams Reckoning is just simply amazing as is the whole track as far as these samples go! And in the final bits of RISE the good ole Batman daaaa duuuuuum chims in I LOVE IT!

so we have approx 16minutes of the OST. 35 minutes left? It's almost sure that we will have a second album or at least free music (inception-like) at some point.
I think The Dark Knight Rises is going to have more of the feeling of Batman Begins. Which in my opinion Batman Begins is better than TDK. I like that they recycled some sounds and have a lot of stuff thats new. I think TDKR will surpass Batman Begins. I love all the songs on this track, especially Catwoman's, it sounds the most intriguing

The Nokia trailer was 2 min and 17 sec, and the new one is 2 min and 13 sec..... so it's very possible that we might get a new trailer!
I think it's the same Nokia trailer. I'd watch another one, but i'd do not like to do it... contradictory much? LOL
I know that it's pretty hard to not press the play button. But pretty soon we are all going to do the same with the movie "clips" that are going to be coming right around the corner.....UGHH I can't help my self!

"Why Do We Fall?" and "Imagine The Fire" are impressing me more and more...they better nominate Hans for Oscar this time !
In fact he better win, or I will lose all faith in the Oscars. It's been 18 long years since The Lion King won Best Original Score for Zimmer. I think it's time he deserved some more respect.
He should have been nominated so many more times and win, but if you look down in history some of the best movies didn't got anything and I hate them for that too, hopefully TDKR will change everything !!!
Very excited for this. Pre-ordering my copy tomorrow (assuming I get paid) very stoked to hear the full thing. Definately gonna have this cranked in my car on the way to the premier with my full costume on.

23 days till Gothams reckoning
I think the reason that Gordon shoots a flare into the night sky in the third trailer is to summon Batman as they don't have the batsignal anymore to signal that they need him. With no effect, someone says "Nothing out there..." right before we see Batman emerge from the shadows just like the trailer. There are going to be so many cool scenes....
Yeah. I think Bane gets the whole city to despise Batman and totally boycott him as a resource. He even goes as far as to shun Batman from the city and tries to delete him from the city's history. At this point in time it's frowned upon to even utter the name "Batman". But there's still talks of Batman amongst a small group of Gothamites. A few that believe in his innocence. There's kids that draw his insignia and whisper about him (ex: kid to John Blake).

Something similar to what he did in TDK: spying on people to find the Joker's hideout. I just can't imagine what exactly would be... not killing, of course.
Maybe it's referring to the weapons mounted on The Bat as a "necessary evil". Batman never resorted to using a weapon in the past but in this film he's got the missiles on The Bat and an EMP rifle.
I thought Batman already broke his one rule in TDK when he pushed Two-Face off the building to his death in order to save Gordon's son. Then he took the blame for Dent's crimes so that the people of Gotham wouldn't lose hope and look towards Harvey Dent as the hero and Batman as the villain. There are many ways TDKR could end. Maybe in TDKR, Batman will directly kill Bane or use a weapon, clearly showing us that Batman broke his one rule, succumbs from his wounds, and dies. Then Gordon and Blake will make up a story (similar to the ending of TDK) for the people of Gotham to believe that Bane was too evil to be kept alive. OR maybe Batman won't kill Bane and die. It could be anyone. Referring to the title of the track, it is a "necessary evil" that will destroy or kill evil. Whatever way it ends, I just hope we all have "complete lumps in our throats" when we watch TDKR next month. That's how I heard TDKR screenwriter David S. Goyer described the final scene of the movie.
i think he's gonna kill bane for sure, I even think about the possibility of both dying together, you know, something like "if I die you're coming with me" "ok, if that's the only way, i'm coming"
Something like TDK ending maybe? Batman and Gordon 'lied' about who kill those five people. We (the audience), and both Batman and Gordon might not really see it as something evil, but to people of Gotham, covering up somebody else's crime while they hail the real culprit as Gotham's savior is pretty much an 'evil' thing to do. So maybe at the end of the movie they have another 'lie' to give to Gothamites. Something that's seen as a sacrifice to us but a lie to them.
Another theory is, if Bane was really killed in this movie, it doesn't need to be Batman who killed him. Doesn't matter who do it; killing, in the first place, is wrong. But sometimes (depending on how you see it), it is a necessary evil to stop another evil. It can be Catwoman, it can be Talia, John Blake....
At least, that's what I think.
I agree with you. A ending similar to TDK seems reasonable. I think maybe Gordon and Blake will make up a story for the people of Gotham to believe that Bane was too dangerous to be kept alive. We'll have to wait and see to find out who's right...

Awesome. It'll be dead obvious where Nolan and Goyer got their inspiration for TDKR. Kinda like how when Year One : The Animated Movie was released it showed some a pretty obvious string of inspirations for Batman Begins.
