It's tough trying to fit the Chrysler stuff into the commercial properly, most of the Chrysler aesthetics don't fit with TDKR footage so it takes some work to find the right match. 10 Days left to fine tune everything though so that's plenty of time to make something work.

The main problem I have is that all the Chrysler footage is in slow motion, I wish they would have included something faster. I know I can speed it up, but if I do that it will mess with the timecode and I'm not sure that's something they want.

I've read through the rules and guidelines and don't see anything about messing with the footage, such as speeding it up. The only rule I can find is that you can only use the material they give you but there doesn't seem to be any restrictions with what you do with the footage itself.
I'll be super bummed if I get DQ'd for messing with the footage but I don't see any rules against it so I'm going to take my chances.0 likes
I also really dislike the sound effects that they give you, like a fruity car honk or a door shutting even though there isn't a clip of a car door shutting...totally useless :P

Oh man, the SFX are so bad. Even the engine revving sounds like a cheap car, not the big powerful 300 they want us to market for them. The best is the footage of the people driving the car inside a parking garage with high key lighting and shaky footage. It's like the ad executives were like, "oh man, we need more footage to give them, let's go in the parking garage and drive around at 11mph". I was going to try and use a shot of the interior electronics, but it said the car was going 11mph, that's not fast enough for an action movie trailer! Oh man, so funny.

Wish I could edit mine...but that won't happen because I live in this place called 'The World' where this competition won't allow entries.

The 300's a nice car but there's about a $130 000 price difference there. Looks like Bruce lost that deal.

But this Lambo got no rockets in the front :P~~ lol

You guys should upload your entries to YouTube or something so we can all see them. ;)

And then you can win because we all got disqualified!

Not allowed. It's against the contest rules to post it.

So is this after Bruce Wayne crashes his Lambo?

You must hid that car before the "cat burglar" steals it ;)

When I first heard the chant that Zimmer had put together I was wondering where the hell he was going with this, but the finished score gives me chills. That music alone would certainly make me want to see this film, but we all know it's not just that.

WOW you people seriously need to get over the notion that John Blake will be taking up the mantle. Have you ever seen Christian Bale’s mouth?
http://images.wikia.com/bat...
Yeah. It looks exactly like that.
It’s a real shame because so many people are gonna think this movie is a major disappointment because JGL won’t be the new Batman. I think it would be stupid if he DID take up the mantle.
He’s playing a cop. Get over it.1 like
This is the most idiotic pic-to-pic comparison ever! lmao... and then to call it spoiler on top lmaoooo

The rules are kinda vague.. Maybe someone can help me with this: by NO user-generated media/content, does that include if I were to say, composite some of the Chrysler footage INTO the DKR footage? I mean, it's user-generated in a way, but it's using the content they provide?

shot in anamorphic ;) AMAZING

Doesn't anyone find it a little ironic that the car chosen for the marketing tie in is the top choice of gangsters?

Just be honest, Chrysler. You're not from Detroit; you're from the suburbs. The Chrysler 300 is imported from Brampton, Ontario, Canada--generic suburbia on the edge of Greater Toronto.
