Warner Bros. announces 'Injustice: Gods Among Us', a new DC fighting game

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios just announced Injustice: Gods Among Us, a superhero fighting game set in the DC Universe. NetherRealm is the company behind many of the Mortal Kombat games, so they know a thing or two about fighting!

From the debut trailer you can spot a few characters from the Batman universe, including Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, and of course, Batman himself. The game will be out in 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U. For more info check out the official press release after the break, and stay tuned to Batman-News.com. The game is scheduled for release in 2013 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the Wii U™ system from Nintendo.
Injustice: Gods Among Us debuts as a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale.

  Not really, they're original costume designs by the game makers, they don't really look anything like the New 52 costumes.

Got to be honest i have been a gamer all my life but now entering my later 20 s i am starting to think i should put the pad down for good ! What do you guys think when are you to old to play video games ?

I'm 24 and definitely don't play video games as much as I used to, but they're still pretty fun! Some are so good now it's like you're controlling a really good movie. I'm currently playing Max Payne 3.

Games are too sofisticated nowadays. All of them seems to have complex cinematography, realistic graphics as hell, all of them very serious and sober, aesthetically perfect. They've lost a lot the innocent fun factor IMO. The simplicity and magic of just "play a game" has gone IMO. They're like movies now, not simple games. Am i sounding too dramatic?

I'm 29 and I definitely find a lot of games are the same crap.
I just recently played Lego batman and damn it was cool. I honestly am only buying Lego batman 2. I find that games are just getting too repetitive. I've spent way too much money in games over my span of having my first job til now, my advise to you; is be very selective. Only buy if you really want it or find a great deal. I waited to pre-order Lego batman 2 and got it for only $37 and free shipping. I refuse to pay $60 for a game ever again. Save your money.

I´m heading for 35 and I can´t wait to return to Arkham City with the new Harley Quinn´s Revenge...
Oh and soon I´ll be shooting my way through Brazilian favelas as Max Payne and after that I might retire to some tropical island in the Pacific... (FarCry 3)

I got the MK VS DC game from a few years back second hand, but it was broken, kept freezing. It was ok I guess but I didn't care enough for it to get a working copy. Then again I suck so very hard at fighting games.
Il probs get this though, since Im a DC fanboy.
