on Batman graces cover of Total Film, big 'The Dark Knight Rises' news coming next week

Batman will grace the cover of the July issue of Total Film magazine. The magazine will go on sale on May 11th on newsstands, as well as online via an all new interactive iPad app. Total Film has a teaser page up right now, and will reveal more details next Friday, on May 11th.

From their The Dark Knight Rises cover we know that they'll have a new interview with Christian Bale, but what else can we expect? Total Film promises something "huge". Will we get new photos, perhaps a new clip inside their iPad edition? Stay tuned to Batman-News.com, I'll keep you guys updated with all the latest news to come out of the July issue of Total Film.

    I heard from the manger at the Rave Theater in Penscola said around the time on May and on superhype forums on May 8th you can pre-order tickets to any movie IMAX screens this summer, For  TDKR!!! >;)

      Yeah, it´s getting kinda boring by now. I collect Batman magazine covers since 1989 so I would like to see some other shots used in future covers.

    it say´s: ˝it´s the end of an era, for me personally and for batman˝..I very much hope, bale won´t spoil the movie by hinting that batman steps down to make room for blake/nightwing/azrael or some other bullshit!!! it´s BATMAN!!!

    I doubt very much John Blake/JGL is anybody but a police officer that takes up the role of Gordon and secretly helps out Selina Kyle/Catwoman rescue Batman from the prison Bane has put him in.
    But...
    If he is any "special secret character" he's more than likely Nightwing. There's been a lot of of people wearing Nightwing costumes (as a joke) to movie premiers and Late Night shows. Plus, Nolan and Bale mentioned they didn't want to include Robin. They didn't say anything about Nightwing or Terry  McGinnis/Batman Beyond or the Red Hood. But I still highly doubt he's any of those characters.

    Is it me or it's it a coincidence that when the viral and the trailer came out, it was right before may day? And in the film, the people of gotham are fighting the police including batman. It's just a theory.

    JGL becomes the new batman.. remember, there was a recent news article that featured tdkr's costume designer n she mentioned that there will be changes in the costume.. maybe the cowl or the head gear will be redesigned for JGL, to make it look like Terry McGinnis's costume...
