Confirmed: 'The Dark Knight Rises' trailer #3 to debut with 'The Avengers' on May 4th

We were all speculating earlier this week as to which movie The Dark Knight Rises trailer #3 would debut with, and now thanks to Nolan Fans, we have an answer! Straight from Warner Bros.' exhibitor website is the news that trailer #3 will play with 2D and 3D showings of The Avengers on May 4th. It's also possible that Warner Bros. will release a new The Dark Knight Rises poster this week to get us ready for trailer #3. Stay tuned to Batman-News.com, I'll have the trailer posted as soon as it hits the internet in HD!

Update: I know The Avengers opens earlier internationally, but I believe The Dark Knight Rises trailer #3 will make its debut with the US showing of The Avengers on May 4th. Don't worry, it should be released officially online for everyone on May 7th. Stay tuned!

It should be interesting to see how much more Nolan lets us see...In #3 Trailers it's usually just a slight remix of trailer #2, but with TDK and inception, they were fairly different, without giving away all the best scenes

LOVE HEARING THIS NEWS, BUT.... This is also going to boost Avengers box office sells as well. Oh well, either way I'm still pumped for this.

    You're right. It's all about the story, always has been. I was just making note about the sells at the moment. We will see in July what happens, but i'm pretty sure the TDKR is going to be a terrific story

    your wrong. I was coming to the realization that AVENGERS is going to benefit with TDKR trailer is front. You read to much into what I said earlier. I could care less about Marvel vs DC. Matter of fact I'm looking forward to the AVENGERS and TDKR, I'm just excited we finally get good quality entertainment again. Not into the fanboy crap that's out there.

  Bold Prediction: The Hunger Games ends up beating out Avengers. Even though Avengers will be a better show.
  The only movie that will compete money wise to TDKR may possibly be the Hobbit

    That would be very interesting if that does happen. I was surprise to see how large a fanbase the Hunger Games had... now Im interested to see how the Avengers will face up against that. In my opinion though, the Avengers to trash the Hunger Games to bits and pieces lol >.<

    Not so sure about that. Avengers has to big a following. We're talking grown adults who used to stay up late at night with a flash light and read these comics day in and out, waiting to finally see it live. Hunger games did good, but AVENGER'S following is greater with the new generation and the old generation/ But again who knows, maybe your prediction is right, all we can do is wait.

  I doubt it, with the current projections of the amount of money the Avenger will make will during its release will negate this factor to little to almost nothing. There is no incentive for a rational person to spend a significant amount of money in order to watch a trailer that would be free on the internet later that week otherwise. Its not like the prologue where its only available in imax screenings and thus creates an incentive for people to view it in that format. But either I am with you, so pumped to see what we are gonna have in store!

I actually expected it to be in front of Dark Shadows, but I guess more people will see Avengers so cool. Not sure if I'm looking forward to the Avengers or the trailer more now though, haha

I know quite a few friends who are huge Batman fans and love Nolan movies who haven't seen the trailers and weren't even aware they were available to see. To call people liars because of not seeing a movie trailer?? Sounds like some people on here need to realize some folks have other things going as well to constantly paying attention. No poster here is bigger than the website.

Finally an apporte response for final and 3rd trailer for TDKR. AND! even better, its attached to Avengers. Once I get my paycheck on the 23rd, I'm getting me a midnight ticket to go see the movie, but mostly to see TDKR's new trailer Haha this gonna fun. Just 88 days away until the Epic Legend hits theaters. >x) my blood is burning for the fire to RISE!

Like most countries I am only 3 days away of The Avengers premiere, the thing is, I´m now going to see it expecting the trailer and the thing is: what if there is no TDKR trailer attached to it? I´ll be so disapointed that I might lose the will to watch Iron Man&Co...

Does anyone know if the Imax Avengers will have an Imax sized trailer for The Dark Knight Rises? Will it show Imax footage? If so, I will see the Avengers in Imax just for the trailer. Much like I saw I Am Legend three times in Imax just to watch the prologue of The Dark Knight.

Trailer three not attached to avengers! I didn't see it in IMAX so that might be why.
