Update 04/19/12: I've added another HQ promo of Bane to the gallery.

We've seen these photos before, but never in such high quality. Cardboard-Cutouts.com gives us a great look at Batman, Bane, and Catwoman from The Dark Knight Rises. It looks like Christopher Nolan's version of Catwoman will not carry a whip, once again we see her holding a gun. I was one of first to complain about Catwoman when seen first image but take everything back...she looks awesome and fits right into that bat universe. I notice that Catwoman has got least coverage/info given from all the characters in this movie but have just got a suspicion she is totally going to steal the show ....roll on 20th July!!!!!!

I love it. The more I see Anne Hathaway in costume the more I love the look. While I'm not a fan of the old look, I prefer the cowl. However I do think it's clever how they mixed the old look with the new (goggles). Anne is great eye candy in the costume and her performance will definitely make-up for the possible lack of cowl and whip (although I'm still crossing my fingers they're still included). I did have complaints of how Heath Ledger looked as The Joker, but it all worked for the best. People complaining she has a gun. While she doesn't usually use a gun, I don't find it unbelievable that she would use one, it would depend on the situation she's in.

  I think that there's a difference between the lack of a cowl and the lack of a whip. The lack of a whip seems more like a stylistic thing, in not including something that seems to be so much of the Catwoman character. OTOH, the lack of a cowl (plus the exposed hair) seems to be a surprisingly unrealistic thing in light of how Nolan has been trying to be oh-so realistic in these Batman films. The lack of a cowl and such a minimal mask doesn't seem to hide her face particularly well from a realism PoV. Still, if Nolan can make it work, what the heck.
  I do think that this catwoman outfit is quite reminiscent of the Julie Newmar costume from the 60's Batman TV series, with the full body catsuit and the limited mask and open long flowing brunette hair. But will Anne Hathaway be as purrrrrrrrrrr-fect for the role as Julie Newmar? Only time will tell.

      No I think your right because I remember a short clip where Catwomen is apparently arrested and is seated in the back seat of a police car without her mask on. Thus it is likely that the police knows who she is... but then again we have so little info so its all just speculation right now.

      You may be correct. I don't know. I just tend to think that one who is wearing a mask is trying to hide one's identity.
      One thing I'm curious about is whether Catwoman's going to be an outright villain, or a version of Catwoman who walks the fine line between villain and hero. I actually like the latter version better. There are plenty of straight up villains, but not as nearly as many who walk both sides of the street.

Style over function miss Kyle? That hair combined with those high heels it may be very eye candy and hot but practical and realistic it is not. I would really like Nolan to make her a stripper she really looks like one!
Batman looks insanely heroic in this pic, I love when the cape is over the shoulder as it should be!
Bane looks brutal and ready to smash your face with his fist!

  Those high heels doubles as a weapon so its not just eye candy. As for the hair, Im not really sure why you would consider it unrealistic...

    Hair is DNA, you wouldn't really want it flowing around as you could get it caught and then you leave DNA at the robbery. Assuming she'll have no criminal record in this movie it would still be a risk to her identity.

      Exactly, every professional robber knows that little detail and then there´s the figthing practicality, I mean who wants to be grabbed by the hair right? Se should at least wear a braid like Lara Croft...

        Well the Joker didn't exactly protect his hair either during the bank robbery so they could have look for DNA evidence of that during the crime scene instead of analyzing that fingerprint off the bullet in that one case. But I wouldn't worry too much about such details, as long as the story is terrific, we can overlook those minor details.

      Forget what you see in CSI. Hair half a milimeter out of the skull is dead. Extracting DNA out of a strand of hair is almost impossible in real life.

        Oh I know that perfectly and I also know you´re a Robin supporter. For me the classic Robin character has no place in these series, I could go with a Nightwing incarnation although on my book Batman works alone, period.

  I thought of that too. People also seem to miss the fact that they hired actors to play talia and raas in flashbacks. Lol random subject bit still it needed to be said. Also one last thing, I came across a video of a scene from dark knight rises even though the quality is bad it basically has Marion cotillard filming a scene while in a armoured vehicle.. Batman blows the vehicle up.. with some help from Anne hathaway on the batpod, Batman actually just shoots at it with that flying vehicle from the trailer and it blows up and falls off a bridge, can't put in a link but if you search leaked dark knight rises footage and scroll down you will see it.

      Actually I'm telling the truth, there have been visa of cotillard hopping in that armoured vehicle as talia and I came across a bus on YouTube of Anne hathaway shooting at something on the batpod whilst Batman was shooting at the armoured vehicle. That is one of the reasons why I am not outright saying that the movie will be epic, I trust nolan but some of the footage is.. strange and different.

        True, but it would be a bit interesting if it wasn't edited out, also I just thought of a few patterns of predictability in nolans Batman franchise, a main villian who has no explanation of how they got there, a smaller villian who begins as a friend, a love interest, a new vehicle and so on. I'm half asleep so if rabble on insanely please just ignore or make fun of me.

Catwoman looks great! Very different from what people were envisioning though it seems. We shall see what it looks like in the movie! She does remind me a bit of Poison Ivy from the '95 film mixed with batgirl splashed with a bit of robin, especially in this pic.
