Tom Hardy was on The Jonathan Ross Show this past weekend and talked about his experience working on The Dark Knight Rises. Ross asked Hardy to explain why Bane needs to wear the mask, but of course, Hardy refused to answer. Hardy went on to explain the first time he met Christian Bale, and how intimidating he looked in the Batsuit. It's a fun interview, check it out!

LMFAO!! The guy is very amusing 2 say the least. Some people just can't talk rationally over there. Its always a Marvel vs DC thing.I just ignore those kind of ppl.I'm a fan of the genre u know. The Avengers,Spider-Man n TDKR = Sweet Fuckin Year. But of course TDKR is my most anticipated film this year.As they say Save the Best 4 last ;) Here's a poster that I really like.Very 1930-ish.

There's a gang who's the worst type of fanboy, like Intruder, Morty, Elguason, Argo... and the term "nolanite" that was created... it's not even a derogatory term, it's a BAD ASS term! :D
But yeah, 20122 will be fucking great! I loved TASM new trailer, more than the Avengers trailer... but TDKR will OWN!
Wow, very noirish poster... love it!0 likes
Yea I don't think any1 is offended by the "term" "Nolanite" lol I sure ain't XD. My only problem with TASM was The Lizard without a snout otherwise pretty bad ass.Guess they were going with Ditko's Lizard but still.

Dude, i agree 100% with you. The weak link in the flick could be totally the Lizard. I hate his design... generic reptilian humanoid. Ditko inspired doesn't mean the thing will necessarily work on the big screen. My favorite version of the Lizard is the McFarlane's one

I'm telling you. Those whiny people and haters over at CBM who go on and on complaining and sometimes even go beyond that and start insulting, will be among the first to go to see TDKR.It's just funny.

is that denzel? on a talk show? and a british one nonetheless?
Oh yeah, Tommy boy... Christian Bale IS BATMAN... and he's gonna hand your ass to ya at the end of the movie.

Let's make a list of possible ways Bats will beat Bane:
- By fist-fighting him (doubtful since Bane is more physically powerful)
- With some smart and sneaky jiu-jitsu or ninjutsu move
- With some new gadget
- Selina, Gordon or Blake have to intervene
- By cutting his venom supply
- Batman goes apeshit and actually KILLS Bane, which means he broke his one rule and is forced to abandon his Batman identity... but Gotham has learned to rise against evil, therefore we have a bittersweet ending.0 likes
If "breaking his rule" means he'd have to abandon being Batman, then this movie wouldn't be happening. (He KILLED Harvey in TDK)

Hmmm but he had no choice than to jump Harvey because he was about to pull the trigger on an innocent kid! C'mon, he's Batman, if he wanted to just kill somebody he'd have Lucious build him a laser gun or something. Harvey died as a result of the fall... that said, one of the reasons he kept on being Batmana is because he had to take the blame for Harvey's crimes.

I think he'll cut his venom supply thus causing him a tremendous amount of pain, and will then proceed to beat the crap out of him with his bare hands. So yeah, Bale will go apeshit, but at the last moment he'll remember he's Batman and he'll let Bane live... but moments later Bane will die in some sort of an explosion thus allowing Batman to keep his "One Rule".

whatever way he defeats bane expect it not to be cliche. when i heard the joker say "do u think i would risk gothams soul in a fist fight with you" i was satisfied in every way, because you know the protangonist is gonna win especially in superhero movies in a fistfight but a psychological attack is one that hurts more than bruises.

I agree with you, and one of the potential pitfalls of using Bane as the villain is that things will tend to gravitate to the physical violence rather than the psychological one that is more propounded by The Joker. Yeah, I know Bane in the comics is really smart, but in the trailer we've seen evidence that they'll resolve thing through a fist fight (at least in part).

"The one in the grey pants. YEAH! THAT guy I wanted to throw down with!" CLASSIC stuff. Tom Hardy is the man.
Bruce Wayne will buy Bane's company and fire him. Then Bane will go wherever Richard Earle went.
I guess Bale never flipped out when working with Nolan.
Who would of believed that

FFS. OK Internet, let me explain one more time:
it's
"would HAVE"
not
"would OF"

Shut up its would of. Stop trying to get involved

YOUR MY BOY BANE!
I don't understand the 'joke'... what's happened? Hardy got angry or something? Cool video tho

The host showed an old modeling video of Tom from when he was 20 years old, and apparently he was a little mad about that. Not as mad as the tabloids mad it out to be, though.

Lumberjack Tom
I'm afraid our boy Tom after playing Bronson, the brutish MMA figther guy in "Warrior", and now Bane, has gone into a perennial state of bad-ass posturing... Hes a really great actor, but could do without the whole "tough guy" posture.
"That guy I wanted to throw down with...kick the hell out them" - hahaha
oh yea I'm Batman
Tom did seem a bit pouty in that.
did'nt they already explain a while ago why bane had to wear the mask, the pain killer being pumped into his jaw and spine or whatever as a result of a childhood accident?

Well the general public I don't think knows that. It wasn't from his childhood either. It was earlier on, but not his childhood.
