on Official descriptions of The Dark Knight Rises' prologue coming December 8th?

Sadly the invitation above is not mine, but lucky members of the press have been invited to an early screening of The Dark Knight Rises' prologue on Thursday, December 8th. The screening includes an introduction by Christopher Nolan and a reception immediately after. There have been a lot of descriptions of the prologue floating around the internet, but I've kept them off Batman-News.com because there was no way to tell how legitimate they were. Assuming that the press isn't embargoed, we should get some official information about the first six minutes of The Dark Knight Rises in just four days. You'll be able to see The Dark Knight Rises' prologue for yourself in the next few weeks. Check out Warner Bros. press release with details on the official IMAX theaters and dates. We already know that the prologue will be an introduction to Bane, what do you think we'll see?     I'm real torn by this. On the one hand I wanna find out early out of impatience. On the other I don't want part of the movie ruined for me. And I'm getting the feeling I'm gonna find out sooner rather than later. Why can't I have things my way :(

    P.S. Bane will side with Batman, calling it.

    I've read three prologue descriptions.One saying Batman and Bane fight right after where TDK ended.One saying Bane's visited by Ra's in prison,and one saying Bane hijacks an airplane...
    If we were told one of these is correct,I'd say it is the third one.

      So there is four: don't forget the one wich shows young Bane and Talia and Talia's mother as a witch and some fire. I vote for the hijack too!

        Oh,really?Yeah,I remember some people talking about this but I've never found it.Yeah,the hijack scene makes sense more as Wally Pfister said the opening scene will be mind-blowing and impressive.

          I want it to be young Bane rescued with Talia by Raz as Raz s wife burns to death , the montage of Raz training Bane intercut with horrific experimental procedures being performed on Bane to control the pain he feels .

          But i have a feeling the assasination on the plane could be the one , either way i doubt i will be dissapointed .

            I just read the other description(Young Bane and Talia).I don't know what to say.Maybe that's true...But I know one thing.One of these is legit.So why did the other description writers LIE?
            I wanna find the liars after we know the correct description and slap them in the face several times!!!

          I don't think its going to be the airplane sequence guys. Bane assassinating a dictator leader in an action packed airplane sequence has absolutely nothing to do with the story. I think the description is in the link posted above. BB and TDK actually does fit the description just prior to Knightfall and a spinal injury would put Batman out for 8 years. That description truly sounds epic, and the opening scene to TDKR is supposed to be mind blowing. Airplane action sequence = not mind blowing. Go watch True Lies. Also recall the final scene from the teaser trailer, one of the first scenes shot for the movie.

    The prologue will indeed be an introduction to Bane. When we first meet him, he's a skinny guy being experimented on by an insane Botanist. He'll then grow into a supersized monster who utters the word BOMB every time he has something to say. Expect this to go on for the rest of the movie.

        Tom, you're the one who's wrong. BigNoseDog is right. It's blatantly obvious that the insane botanist is who makes BAAAAAAAAAAANE! He will be so massive and does indeed utter "Bomb!" everytime he has something to say.
        You need to check where you're getting your sources from...

        I have seen it. My brother's best friend works on the set he is a producer. He helped put the score on the scenes and shown me the prologue this morning. Have any questions tweet me @its4themusic or reply here..

    The BatMan won't be in prologue. it will introduce us how is Bane connected with the LoS, how Bane got these s..mask, what's his intention and [rhetoric] what do you think, how Nolan will show this everything to us ;-)

    I hope that once (if they are) released, that Batman-News will respect the no-spoiler wishes of fans by not posting it and allowing people who do want to see it to find it through other sources on the Internet.

        Guys don't worry about the prologue, a full trailer will be released on the 16th and will probably be released officially online two days later. That'll
        tide me over until the prologue hits the Internet in HD :)

    Hey Chris, I know you probably won't post any descriptions of the prologue on here (and I'm glad that's the case), but will you be posting the general reactions from the critics on here? Such as "Awesome" or "Mind-blowing" or "Epic", etc. etc.

    All the descriptions of the prologue 'leaked' onto the internet are phony. All it takes is information already in the public eye and a little imagination to make them up & they all sound way too predictable anyway. I wager that the prologue will only whet our appetites further. Mass scale p****k tease anyone?

    I really want to see it in IMAX :'( But I can't................ Stupid digital theaters.
    Still hoping that it'll be shown here in Holland! I heard someone say that we had the Dark Knight's prologue with I Am Legend back in 2007 in IMAX.....

    I presume the December the 18th is in America? I've heard there could be one in the UK on the 14th? But i can't imagine we'd get it before the US see it. I'm not complaining though! :P

    Whatever it is the prologue is called a prologue for a reason, it will not affect the rest of the movie, that would be dumb on Nolan´s behalf. It will be an introduction to Bane and although I would rather watch it attached to the movie next July i don´t mind to hear the description in a couple of days from now. This movie will be way too epic to be spoiled that easily...

    Will a 1080p version of the prologue reach the internet? I know that we shouldn't expect it to be in high quality online until probably March, but if I'm not mistaken TDK prologue was release online. S.N. I still didn't watch it, I  like enjoying the entire movie all together! : )

    where's the prologue already? i just read a pretty cool description here http://popcynicka.wordpress... that says it will be about bane as a kid getting kidnapped and killing the kidnappers. apparently he was trained by his merc dad.
