on Full 'The Dark Knight Rises' trailer to debut with 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows'

We got a teaser trailer in July with Harry Potter, and now it looks like the first full trailer for The Dark Knight Rises will debut on December 16th with Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Batman-on-Film broke the news earlier this week, and I've been able to confirm the story with my own sources.

December is going to be a huge month for The Dark Knight Rises! Not only are we getting the first trailer, but those lucky enough to have an IMAX theater nearby will be able to see the first six minutes of The Dark Knight Rises with Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Mark your calendars, December 16th 2011 is a day that every Batman fan can look forward to. Now if only Warner Bros. would release another set of official stills to hold us over until then...

    It's gonna be a long wait to Dec 16 so in the mean time I recommend that all batfans find something else to occupy your time so that time itself will speed up lol F*** everything I just said. Mr. Nolan PLEASE give us something until then Oh the horror the horror

    We still don't know what that spot is left from Bane on the official image of him!!!!!! Hopefully, that'll be explained as well, neither in another picture or in the trailer!!! You never know ;).

    By the way, what about an official image of THE DARK KNIGHT HIMSELF?

    I knew this day was coming, but seeing it announced is *SO* exciting!
    Trailer trailer trailer trailer trailer!!!!!! I truly hope I can catch the prologue as well, oh yes I would suffer Mission Impossible for it (or just watch the prologue and run the hell home to gush over it).

    My theory is that Bane's compound is next to that bridge and the set pics of the compound and the "bridge scene" we hear about and the set photos of Gordon and cops walking on the river bed in LA is all next to eachother. And in the teaser when it looks like Batman backing away from Bane it looks like they are near the bridge with the mysterious figure in the back looks like he is on a high catwalk platform sort of thing...anyways maybe the teaser will be inside Bane's compound and it looks like water pipe was leaking in their so it could all mean that the teaser could be showing us towards the end. I feel like the movie will start out like this.

    Bane origins, bruce and alfred chat with tea, life seems amazing, bruce meets selina, they both dont know their secret lives, random prison breakout, no word on anything, selina stealing stuff from wayne tech, batman catches her on security camera, they confront eachother, little fight, she flees, city hall conference, Bane crashes the conference, Police and mercenary brawl, batman thinks the "catwoman" is causing problems again, sees bane, craps his batpants, the brawl, tumblers pull up, Bane and batman are both vigilantes,Nixon wants gotham pd to find batman more than Bane, bane plans while pd hunting the bat, bane thinks real good finds gordon puts him in his place because gordon searches his compound (which bane probably has permits for LOL), bruce hears the news, Talia already knows the deal since she has the tumblers, Fox is kicked off wayne tech (Donald trump- your fired), JGL on the hunt for bat, confronts bat, they chat, JGL is all good with batman, football earthquake machine scene, and thats all i put together so far. Still working on this with the evidence we have...

      You could very well be right. Nobody knows. But you're wrong on one account.

      The film begins immediately after the events in The Dark Knight. The opening scene is Batman being hunted by the police.

    does the full trailer will be shown only in the USA? or it will be shown in Mexico too??? my girlfriend is dying to see the Sherlock one... if the trailer will be shown in Mexico, them I'm dying to see Holmes too xD

    Will this trailer only be screened in America.. Cause otherwise I am getting my tickets for Sherlock Holmes here in the Netherlands just to see the trailer of TDKR
