A big action scene for The Dark Knight Rises was filmed in Los Angeles over the weekend. The scene includes the Batwing and what appears to be Bane's vehicle, a Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT). I think this may be equivalent to the "truck handstand" we got in The Dark Knight. I've embedded three videos after the break that show the scene from different angles. Check them out if you aren't avoiding spoilers.

I'm so glad to see that they used IMAX camera's!!! That's great!!!!!! It looks awesome, way more awesome than that Avengers set pics/actions. That's all CGI action, but this is real.
This. Is. EPIC!0 likes
This is extraordinarily epic! And the locations Nolan's chosen are perfect.

Seriously whoever is still complaining about nolan, cast & crew can go f*ck themselves. I remember when some people where pissed about the spoilers and stuff, and said they weren't going to see the movie when it comes out. WHOEVER DOESN'T SEE THIS MOVIE WHEN IT COMES OUT IS A FAIL! Because I have a little feeling that this might possibly be the gratest movie ever made. Obviously Nolan thinks so and he isn't stupid, I say this all the time but he is a f*cking genius. By the way these videos are awesome :P

OMG! How is this gonna be "Bruce Wayne's story"(Nolan said) with all these action scenes?!!!!!! Gotta be a three-hour-long movie!

thats DEFINITELY A new tumbler, the batwing is connected right with it!! if u guys will look at the HEMTT VS Batwing video, and pause at 22 seconds, somehow get a picture of it and zoom in, u can totally see the new tumbler!!

Ok I cracked, i had to see the videos, But a one thing.. Is it just me or does it look like a tumbler is on the road, or is it just the truck carrying the batwing? IM not sure, but it looks like a tumbler that has that batwing shape to it if it went to critical condition and seperated like with the batpod and the old tumbler

Do you guys realize, that "truck crash" scene is in fact, an "one take" kind of scene? If Nolan screw that... another one would cost some million more.

The Joker´s truck flip over in TDK was a one take scene...

I just had a rather random thought and question. How come it takes from May til November to shoot a Nolan movie? I mean that's 7 whole months. Don't most big action movies take about 3 months?

Because this City deserves a better class of Director = )

This is probably because Nolan is meticulously making sure that he makes this movie to the best of his ability, and is not just throwing out some 2 hour depthless action movie that's just fun to look at. Nolan is a very versatile director, and as we all know is very good at what he does. His best attribute is his gift of story telling. Also don't forget that Nolan is old school, and doesn't really like to use CGI. So my guess is that he's taking seven months to shoot this movie, so that each action scene is as authentic as it can possibly be, and well executed as far as the cinematography and the story is concerned. With Nolan being as successful as he has been in the last decade he also has the budget to take that long with the shooting. Im personally glad that he is, because Im sure he's working day and night to bring us one hell of ending to this trilogy.

Your soo right, Chris Nolan is making h=sure this movie is, almost flawless, obviously, there's gonna be some flaws, (no movies perfect) but he's trying to have as little as them as he can and hes trying to make this movie, just awesome, with a good balance of dialogue and action scenes

Talking about dialogue I watched the Dark Knight the other day and I was truly amazed at the dialogue. The movie came out when I was a bit younger so I didn't pay much attention to it but when I watched it again it just amazed me at how well written it was. The movie is not just great visually but the story and how it is told it great too.

That is because like fine wine, a Nolan movie takes time.

I posted this in response to another comment on here, but it applies to this as well. I sincerely hope JGL is not secretly playing Robin. Who knows maybe Nolan has been trying to throw everyone off the trail, but he has always stated that Robin will never appear in his realm of Batman. Robin is great for the comics, but is hokey on the big screen. Nolan has yet to use him, and Burton never did. When Robin finally made it on to the big screen Joel Schumacher completely botched it, and it's because you can't bring the comic version of Robin into a movie and have not be corny. If Nolan introduces Robin's character into DKR expect him to be a completely different, and darker take. That might upset a lot of true die hard Batman fans. I won't be upset if Nolan necessarily does this, but why even take the risk. I think with they type of versatile actor that you have in JGL, it would be far cooler to have him secretly playing a villain. This would be less of a risk, and would play better in Nolan's realistic, and awesome take of Batman. It would make my world to if that villain was secretly the Riddler, or Black mask. Also just a little side note that a lot of you might find really interesting Christian Bale actually tried out for the role of Robin, but as we all know was beat out by Chris O'Donnell. Little did Bale, or any of us know that a decade later he would not only be apart of the most successful reboot we have seen of Batman, but he himself would be playing Batman. Pretty interesting, looks like Bale got the last laugh. This of course is just all of my opinion. I completely trust Nolan, and can't wait to see what he does with DKR
