1 on Multiversity: Teen Justice #6 reviewBefore I begin talking about this issue I would just like to apologize and hold myself accountable for misgendering Kid Quick in my last review. Thankfully a fellow editor was able to correct the mistake but I shouldn’t have assumed that I knew their gender and especially when there are so few nonbinary characters it’s…
While we get our first fight between the Teen Justice team and their Green Lantern opponents, a handful of mysteries surrounding the suspicious involvement of Raven comes creeping in to remind us that there is much more to this story than meets the eye. This issue is full of teasers for things to come, which…
Now that we’re at the third issue of Multiversity: Teen Justice I can confidently say that the story and art are continuing to go in opposite directions. While each issue has the art improving more and more, the story is slowly starting to wither and head straight towards mediocrity. Troy has gone missing this issue…
In this second issue of Multiversity: Teen Justice the gang splits up in order to find out more about the Church of Blood. Even though I really wasn’t a fan of the ending of the first issue there was still a lot that Multiversity: Teen Justice had to offer. I was really enjoying the character…
The first issue of Multiversity: Teen Justice picks up on an idea that was sort of introduced in Grant Morrison’s Multiversity. In Earth-11 the “Amazonians of Themyscira imposed their law on the whole world and changed it forever… inspiring generations of women to take the lead in creating the future.” We follow Teen Justice as…
Multiversity: Ultra Comics #1 "Out of His Box" Written by Grant Morrison Pencils by Doug Mahnke Let's just get to it... This was my least favorite issue of Multiversity, aside from its debut. Yes, there were some decent themes, and I understand where Morrison was coming from, but the execution of the product as a…
The Multiversity: Guidebook #1 “Maps & Legends” Written by Grant Morrison Oh, Grant… Why is it that when I read half of your work, I have to sit and debate if I love it or not? Please stop making me think, and just make things easy for me… I’m kidding… kind of… I’m going to…
The Multiversity: Thunderworld #1 "Captain Marvel and the Day that Never Was" Written by Grant Morrison Art by Cameron Stewart It's another chapter of Multiversity, and another glimpse into the Multiverse. I was looking forward to this issue based of my previous experiences with the Thunderworld, but this didn't completely meet my expectations. It wasn't…
This past Monday, DC Comics announced its next huge event: "Convergence." Beginning on April 1, 2015, the event will consist of a 9-part main series written by Jeff King and 40 2-part tie-in miniseries. Here's the full press release from DC: Comic book fans have a lot to be excited about! Today, DC Entertainment and…
Multiversity #1 "The Just" Written by Grant Morrison Art by Ben Oliver Multiversity gives us another glimpse into another universe. "The Just" focuses on a Utopian type world where super heroes are no longer needed thanks to an army of robot Supermen (as in Superman, but plural). The Superman robot army has protected the Earth…
Multiversity: Society of Super-Heroes #1 “Conquerors from the Counter World” Written by Grant Morrison Art by Chris Sprouse Be honest, after last month, how many of you were nervous to see my review of this issue? I definitely pissed some people off with my previous review of Multiversity, but what can I say? I call…
Multiversity #1: “House of Heroes” Written by Grant Morrison Art by Ivan Reis Multiversity is here! Morrison is back! And there's a lot going on! A LOT! Now I'm sure most people are going to praise this book because of Morrison's reputation, the impact he's made on comics, and/or the fact that he's doing something…
