We have reached the end… Midnighter’s run comes to a close with this issue, and it genuinely makes me sad. When this title was announced, my knowledge of Midnighter was strictly compiled from his appearances in Grayson. Andrew pitched the book my way to review, and I was honestly hesitant. I didn’t dislike M as…

The last time we saw Midnighter, he was trapped on a plane that was getting blown up by the Suicide Squad. Actually, I take that back. The last time we saw him was in the final issue of Batman & Robin Eternal, where he was beating the snot out of some junior Orphans. But yes,…

So I’m reading Midnighter this morning, and I have the local news on the TV for background noise. While I’m reading, they start covering politics and discuss Donald Trump and some of his brash behavior/ comments… and it’s right as Midnighter is up to his typical behavior in this issue. Specifically: My mind immediately went…

Now this is more like it! After last month’s less-than-stellar issue, Midnighter returns with a level of violence and vulgarity that just warms my heart… which may or may not speak volumes about me. At the start of the series, the God Garden was raided, and dangerous tech was stolen then sold on the black…

Midnighter #8 Written by Steve Orlando Art by David Messina Colors by Romulo Fajardo Jr Well... It kills me to say this... But this issue is disappointing... Last month's issue of Midnighter wrapped up the first arc rather quickly. Arguably too quickly.  I do believe that closure is just temporary though, and that the "big…

If you don’t want the big reveal from the last issue to be spoiled for you, then stop reading. I’m serious, don’t read any further. Ok, but if a major plot point gets spoiled, it’s your own fault. I’m not kidding… No… seriously… even the title of this issue is a spoiler. Fine…   Midnighter…

Midnighter #6 Written by Steve Orlando Art by ACO Colors by Romulo Fajardo Jr This issue kicked ass! And my thoughts on this book are the same as my thoughts on Gotham by Midnight... There aren't enough people reading it. Sadly, Gotham by Midnight is coming to an end, and even though Midnighter is pulling…

Midnighter #5 Written by Steve Orlando Art by Stephen Mooney Colors by Romulo Fajaroo Jr and Jeremy Cox Midnighter and Dick are back together again, and this time, they’re holding hands! Well… kind of… This issue continues Midnighter’s hunt for the man who stole equipment from the God Garden. Along the way, he picked up…

Midnighter #4 Written by Steve Orlando Art by Stephen Mooney Colors by Romulo Fajaroo Jr Steve Orlando, you sly devil you… Midnighter... and Dick Grayson... In towels at a sauna? Women and gay men across the world shed a tear of joy with this one. Alright, if I said I didn’t enjoy that, I’d be…

Midnighter #3 Written by Steve Orlando Pencils by ACO Inks by ACO and Hugo Petrus Colors by Romulo Fajaroo Jr Oh Midnighter, you psychotic, yet soft-hearted bastard... I know you're completely insane, but I think I love you... Ok, ok, I'm kidding... Kind of... No, seriously, I'm so glad I’ve been introduced to this character.…

Midnighter #2 Written by Steve Orlando Art by Alec Morgan Colors by Romulo Fajaroo Jr and Allen Passalaqua It’s our second installment of my new favorite, trash-talking, badass, Midnighter! I’ve been reading a lot of this character lately to become more familiar with him, and it’s been an enjoyable experience so far. Last month we…

Midnighter #1 Written by Steve Orlando Pencils by ACO Inks by ACO and Hugo Petrus Colors by Romulo Fajaroo Jr. Spinning out of Grayson (and before that, Stormwatch), Midnighter now has his own series in the New 52… or DC YOU… or whatever it is that DC is calling this re-launch that’s actually still a…
