0 on Batman: Gotham Knights - Gilded City #6 reviewIt's the final issue of this series, and while I'm not exactly distraught to see it go, I do think it's a little sad that this might be the last we see of this version of Batman's world. I've really enjoyed the Gotham Knights universe, and I hope we get to see more of it in…
We're back with a blast from the past (a few, actually) in this week's issue of Gilded City! This whole mini has been better than it had any right to be, especially for a video game tie-in comic, and I honestly would love to see this Narcisse/Abel/John/Wands team on a future bat-project, unhindered by any obligations…
We're back! The Runaway's adventures continue, and the FOMO Fear Gas is still spreading! What secrets connect the two? Will our heroes, past and present, be able to stop their respective crises? Let's find out! The Runaway I think I've said it in just about every review so far, but The Runaway is such an…
It's time to dive back into Gotham with our favorite vigilantes! A quick aside before we get started, I've been playing the Heroic Assault raids in Gotham Knights: The Game the Comic the Game, and they're a lot of fun! I teamed up with some friends, and we were able to clear most of the floors…
Ahh, Christmas. A time for love, laughter, family, and-- if you’re anything like teenage Cam (that's me, I'm Cam)-- hiding away from it all upstairs playing video games while the adults talk and do the dishes. For me, the Arkham games that got me through the most trying holiday seasons. But now, I’m older. Jaded. Roped…
After a pretty solid first issue, and a REALLY solid month of playing this game, this series is back with its second installment, and it's great! I've been really impressed with this series so far, both the game and the comic have been way better than I think anyone was expecting. I don't want to…
Gotham Knights has been out for about a week ago, and I gotta say- I'm having a blast. The story is heartfelt and interesting, the characters, while a little different than their comic book counterparts, are well-written and heartfelt, and the gameplay, while definitely a big change from the Arkham series, holds its own and…
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: one of the greatest assets that McFarlane Toys has with their DC Multiverse figures is the variety of characters and properties they represent. More than that, they pull from all sorts of entertainment mediums, from comics to video games to movies and television shows. It seems…
Several new Bat-books will be joining the already thick roster of Batman titles, and that's without including Harley Quinn. There seems to be as many ways to approach Batman as there are ways to skin a cat. Somehow, much like asking for someone to expound actual cat skinning, the more we ask the less okay with…
Warner Bros. Montreal recently announced that they will not be releasing Gotham Knights for the Playstation 4 or Xbox One. This is sure to come as upsetting news to the many gamers who have not been able to acquire a next gen console. According to the the game's FAQ page: To provide players with the…
Warner Bros. Games Montreal has released a 13-minute gameplay demo giving players an in-depth look at what they can expect playing as Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. From the video we can see some of the differing playstyles based on the two characters. Nightwing's hand-to-hand combat is similar to the combat with Batman in the…
The thing that appeals to me the most about McFarlane Toys' DC Multiverse line is how much variety they offer. I mean, sure, there are lots of Batman figures, but that's to be expected given that he's pretty popular these days. Even with a ton of variations on the Caped Crusader, that still leaves plenty…
