   Ugh what a let down. The character development was fine as it has been throughout this season, but the story was slow and mostly dull and this episode was a glorified music video(s). Some cool peeks into dimensions but just used for cut-away things and quick morbid deaths without really setting anything up unless I'm missing some comic tie-in somewhere. Prison planet just sounds boring and a do-over of prison dimension from the superman movie as setup for next season, or I guess the next movie? Really hoped for more after putting up with a really Super Meh season.

         Thanks, I hadn't heard about that before. After digging a little I suppose its probably setup for the New God's. Doesn't really change my feelings though, still just a ramped up version of part of the Superman movie story. And other than Lex I don't see them using any of the other big villains like Joker if they even sort-of follow that story. Which I doubt, Peacemaker is probably going to lead whoever ends up there lol

   This episode was REALLY bad.
   Even if you really liked the season (personally I thought it was OK) this felt like a terrible payoff for the various plots in it.

   It feels like the worst takes on Superhero stories where it relies more on references and emotions than actual satisfying story arc payoffs.

   just to take an example with Sasha Bordeaux, she barely got any character development the entire season, and then suddenly in this episode she realizes her boss is up to no good (the whole Rick Sr plot is a whole other mess) and decides to join the "Good Guys"
   The only reason anyone should care about that is because she's a recognizable character from the comics (where obviously she had a much more developed story)

   I’ve said before that I haven’t been watching Peacemaker, and everything I’ve heard about this season has given me no reason to regret that. And the news I’ve been hearing about its ratings has been even worse.

   So what I want to know is where’s our resident troll to defend his hero James Gunn now that more and more people are getting tired of him?

   Whole season was just meh... Gunn just can't help but inject his outdated, tonedeaf and out of touch ideological boredom into his projects. He seems in check (enough) with his big movies, but with his TV stuff it's just insufferable. It was by far the worst aspect of S1 but overall there was enough to enjoy there to make it a fun experience.

   S2 just had a bad story and setup. No one cares about this "multiverse" garbage anymore. It's so played out. And AGAIN with the "N*zis" I'm so bored of it. The fact that he called everyone who objected to his take a N*zi certainly doesn't help.

   Still, there was some stuff to enjoy and I was hoping for a good finale... but wtf was THAT??? That last episode was so bad. More than anything else, it was BOOOOORRRRIIIIINNNGGGGG... Chris is a fun character but at some point it seems like Adebayo just took over as the center of the plot. I never liked her character. She's a hypocrite and arrogant. This wouldn't be so bad if it was portrayed as a character flaw, but instead she's portrayed as the moral & intellectual authority of the show.

   That ending for Chris was such a middle finger too... After all that he experienced & sacrified, he's doomed to some stupid planet with Gunn confirming that S3 will never happen (plus knowing S2 kinda flopped with the ratings).

   Good job Gunn.
