Warner Bros. released their electronic press kit for Justice League this weekend. It included 60 new hi-res images, 9 video interviews, and now a couple of clips have been released too. More should be coming soon.
In the first two clips released, we see Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne recruiting Aquaman and The Flash. We've seen both of these scenes in trailers before, but now we get an extended look. Check them out below.
Justice League hits theaters on November 17th. Tickets are available now.

visually speaking yeah, but Gustin Grant looks far from Barry as well. I'm looking for personality. Hopefully it's more Barry then Wally which is my fear. In costumes both actors look fantastic, complete Barry Allen Flash.
why would you want Barry over Wally though? Wally was the best Flash in my opinion because his humorous personality I think was the best fit for the Flash.
Mostly because I would to see all 4 on screen at the same time. That on Young Justice episode with Jay, Barry, Wally, and Bart was one of my favorites. All 3 are humorous just Wally is more so but I've had my whole life with Wally. I'm looking to explore more Flash history. Kind like how I wish the Flash tv show would have like a season or half a season with Jay Garrick Flash on his earth.
Every time Barry does that pose, I hear the Kagebushin Jutsu noise but without the "poof" sound.

I'm not. But I think Snyder should respect characters a little more. I know that's not his thing, but come on, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen? Really?
Marvel doesn't " respect " any of its characters in their movies (they even cast a black Valkyre and a black Heimdall), so why should Snyder? It is like any adaptation of a play by Shakespeare, i.e. there is no "right or wrong", just a different reading/ interpretation of the source material.
Are you admitting Marvel sets the standard for CBM's?
And they respect the characters a lot more than Snyder. At least most of the major characters. Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Spider-Man, Loki, Thanos are all very similar to the comics.
In the DCEU Superman and Batman look great (although Superman is hopeless and tormented and Batman is a cold blooded murderer). WW looks good. Aquaman looks like a Lobo (or Rob Zombie). The Flash looks like Richard Ramirez, Lex Luthor looks like Jim Carrey's Riddler.

Yes, Marvel does have some characters that look different from the comics, such as Hawkeye and Scarlett Witch, but they mostly got them right.
Everyone looks pretty perfect in the DCEU except arguably the Flash. Jesse Eisenberg looks like Lex. Aquaman looks great. You’re wrong about the characterizations. That is all.

Personality wise yeah and some characters visually fit the mold they should have had in comics. Heimdall being a main for me. In comics he never seem to fit how he was portrayed in comics. Idris however carries it well, they should redraw him to match to match his on screen look. MCU Spidey doesn't cut it for me. Suit looks good yet strange to me, I can't get with those thick black lines nor wrists. The acting is fantastic, my only drawback is that it's more of Ultimate (1610) Pete personality than 616 Pete and that bugs me because he just buckles under the pressure of Spider too much. But the movie was good for me and he's solid, I'm reserving final words until he goes through at least 2 arcs. To see him grow more, same as I did for every hero. All in all I think casting is great on both universes (Marvel/DC), taking cues from characters history and putting it down nicely. Lex is a stretch but he looked good as his old before bald mad scientist past but that's another 3 part for me too. Aquaman takes from his more popular Justice league cartoon show look, minus hook.

He's still skinny. And unless you're blind it should be obvious to you that Grant looks a lot more like Barry Allen than Miller. Not to mention a TV series is a lot less important than a movie.

You're referring to CB drawings where nearly every male hero is square jawed and looks basically the same, save for their hair color/hairstyle. This is a live action adaptation and in reality not everyone looks the same. Plus Ezra is not skinny. He's leaner then the other characters as Flash should be, but he's ripped...

The particular medium is inconsequential. If you want to ardently insist that a film adaptation has to aesthetically reflect their comic counterparts then the same applies if the character is translated on television.

I'm aware of that, however in this instance its not important in the least bit. To be clear. You're talking about aesthetic liberties taken when adapting a comic character to live action. So insisting that cinematic Barry has to be blond then it stands to reason that a television interpretation should do likewise to such a miniscule and feasible demand. Its a double standard that may be rooted in DCEU bias.

I personally didn't like the casting at first but it grew on me. Mostly because all I had seen him in at the time was wallflower, and I disliked his face in that....... thought it was too geometric.
Look at the Barry Allen images I posted. I want somebody who at least resembles that. Ezra not only doens't look anything like that, but they didn't even try to make him look like that.
It's not my job to cast the characters.

Honestly, I would have been pretty excited if they got the guy that used to play green Arrow in Smallville.
But at the same time, I don't think they have to look exactly like their comic book counterparts.
After all as a character, he mostly wears a suit that covers his features. As an actor I think he's great, so as long as he doesn't muck up the role Im fine with him in it.
Cyborg and Wonder Woman, had little real acting experience before their DC roles. I was worried about them.
I just want a good movie, I can't be focusing on how people look.
Hopefully Ezra’s acting will make up for it in full, and maybe by the end it won’t matter too much :)

I hope that's what happens. I hated that the tv show called the episode flashpoint and was nothing like the comic.
The rumor isn't whether the film happens or not, it's about the scope. It will be the HUGE Flashpoint comic version if the Justice league is well received. Or will be something much smaller if the film bombs. Something more Flash centric.
I agree that itd be a bit too early. But from what i recal most of the people that are in flashpoint comics will have had a movie by then.
Theres a lot of B list antiheros or others around that honestly they could introduce for the first time in that world with zero backstory. And it would probably work if done correctly.
Going off the flashpoint animated movie more than the comics. Only people youd really be missing is no one that big. Shazam should be out by then as well. And there were no true green lantern appearances in flashpoint. Hal jordan out of costume and abin sur corpse. Id welcome it fer sure. A full on flashpoint. Dont even care if that reboots the universe as long as they keep making movies after.
Flashpoint rebooted DC and made them all a lot younger.

Ben's facial structure is so different from Snyder's footage (they couldn't even get his wig right) that it drives me nuts. Reminds me of Ewan McGregor's beard changes in Attack of the Clones during the reshoots.

What about his hair? It's Snyder's footage there. The shot in the recent clip is Whedon's and the differences I pointed out are in regards to Ben's face and his wig. It's not a matter of opinion to say it's a reshoot.

I believe it was cut to be shorter in this video. In first trailer that scene was longer.
Normally when clips are released, they're heavily truncated for timing purposes, so I think that's the reasoning for the choppy editing.... At least I hope.
The Barry Allen scene for instance was edited much better in the original Comic Con teaser.

Dude there's no reshoot in either of these scenes...when you shoot a scene you take multiple takes. Coming from a director, that's how it works. Just because you saw a take in the trailer doesn't mean it's the final take used in the movie. That, and it's cut up a bit on purpose to not spoil the entire clip. Stop spreading nonsense. Zack shot both these scenes, there is no Joss Whedon here.
I thought it was common sense since no shit a scene will be shot multiple times. This guy needs to stop overreacting and assuming things. This is all Snyder. The BTS stuff proves it too.

It's a reshoot. Maybe it won't be used in the final film, but it's right there in the clip. You can see that in the rest of the clip, Ben looks consistently the same - the hair, the beard and his face. That's all Snyder. That one particular shot that I pointed out is definitely Whedon.

Ben's hair on the left is longer, on the right shorter. Ben's face is thinner on the left, thicker on the right. I mean really, man. I like to be positive about the movie and have my fingers crossed for Zack's vision to be preserved, but you can't be naive to not think there weren't some changes and this is simply one of them.
It doesn't look longer to me. It looks messed up after being neatly straightened back before.

The widow’s peak vs. straight hairline is the first and last thing to look at. Clearly different shoots.
It is longer though and it's a wig since you can see in Snyder's footage that Ben has a pronounced widow's peak on his forehead and in Whedon's he does not.
The widow's peak (which is a fitting look for Bruce) is noticeable now that you point it out, but it's just not something I care enough about to take very seriously. It's tiny and superficial to the bigger picture of the scene.
I love hyper-analyzing themes and characters, and I love picking up on lovingly crafted details and hidden references and all that, but someone's hairline/wig changing a little bit between scenes? Not interested.
If that sort of thing is there and I do happen to notice, I shrug it off rather quickly and move on to the rest of the movie. The way people are panicking over this, or feeling a need to call it out so loudly, is so odd to me.

If you look at the Comic Con trailer from 2016 to see what the original shot initially looked like where Bruce pissed off Arthur enough to slam him into the wall.

There's probably more to the scene that was heavily truncated for time purposes for a clip release, so I'm sure more was shot than just that one-liner.
Look, I'm not trying to be negative. I'm just being observant and that shot was definitely a part of the reshoots. Even if it weren't for Ben's fluctuating weight, you can see what the ORIGINAL shot looked like in the comic con trailer and in it, Ben has longer hair and more gray strands in his beard.
And hell, even if you want to believe that Snyder did it, that still wouldn't discount that during principal photography later down the line, maybe Snyder wanted to reshoot that scene months later hence why Ben looks different. But either way, you can't discount that Ben looks different. In the original footage, he looks like he's still in his BvS shape and in the reshoots - whoever did it; Zack or Joss - Ben is a bit puffier.
Like I said, I'm sure it was more than just that one moment and it'll be sprinkled all throughout the scene in the actual movie. But we've heard numerous times that Whedon injected more humor into the film and it could be that he just wanted to add more quips to the scene.
As for why I think it's Whedon and not Snyder, there are other things beyond Ben's physical appearance that tip me to lean toward it being Whedon's shot. The lighter backdrop for one allowing for less chiaroscuro (IE dark contrast). You see that in every shot of the clip that was the original footage Snyder shot has a stark contrast between the lights and the darks and only that one particular shot has more of an even light spectrum and less shadows. I could be reaching, but if you watch all of Snyder's films, you'll notice that he loves heavy contrast and that shot stood out as being the only one devoid of sharp blacks.
Like I said, could be wrong, but it's just another one of those things.

Holy crap, I've reviewed the scene and it's true! This joke about Atlantis was added. It seems to be only in the part of the phrase, but will be enough for some people to be looking for in the film all the differences. In Snyder's scene the hair starts lower down on the forehead, while in the remake it does not, the beard also lost some white parts on the chin. Quickly in the movie, no one will realize, I suppose, just that way, after someone points out that someone will notice, like Ewan's, that I did not even know.
not really joss's footage at all........ They just touched up the color to make it slightly brighter on the older clips from the trailers. But also the same in the movie.
They did the same thing in the BvS and MoS movies if you download them now on itunes. I haven't watched them yet with brighter colorings, but I want to.

I didn't notice that but now I can't not see it. What an eye you have. I also don't like how they've changed the voice. Originally when he said "King Tide" his voice breaks a little, they've fixed it & now it sounds boring.

Here's a nitpick I have against Flash's suit -- ok, the idea of it needing to be heat resistant is compelling enough, but shouldn't the mouth and the eye holes also be covered then? Inconsistency.
Probably heat resistant as in: his clothes don't burn up, the longer he runs.
It makes sense. His shoes, at least, would wear out very quickly.
I think his body (eyes, mouth, etc..) is immune to the effects of superhuman speed but not his clothing.

Im not sure what state of mind Ben was in going into re-shoots, we all know he had a pretty rough year. However, as a professional, did he really have to let himself go that much? The re-shoot Ben looks 25 pounds heavier and in some shots actually looks horrible. I hope its not too stark a difference while watching the film.

The funny thing is... the fans seem to be the only ones affected. I can barely tell. But then again I'm not watching the footage 20 times in a row on a loop either.

I'm purposely avoiding doing that as a fan. I dunno why people want to get used to the scenes before the movie is out. I wanna get hyped without losing that freshness. :)
I don't think it's about "fans" but more about people that actually watch movies. That are focused on the movie. We'll notice this, because we care about what we watch. Disney movies, don't matter, because for them, you can turn off your brain cells and even leave the screen 5 min, everything in em are way too obvious and predictable, but for movies like BvS, or Interstellar, where if you miss a detail, you'll end up like the retarded bandwagon that laughs about the Martha scene or the why Superman didn't try to talk to Bruce before hitting, as he actually did, but they probably went at that moment off screen to grab a drink or whatever.
I definitely hear you with the last bit, but I think that's a lot more crucial than, say, Ben's face being subtly chubbier. lol
It just seems like people are over-reacting to the tiniest, most inconsequential things right now. If the reshoots did anything substantial to actually ruin the story somehow, or to unnecessarily confuse simple people, that would be different.

It's because they are. They wan't to be able to point to out the Whedon stuff so they can see what's been, "fixed". Never mind the fact that when you're shooting or re-shooting for a week or two 8 months after production has wrapped it's going to be extremely difficult to get things to match up properly.
I honestly was not "looking" for it. It jumped out at me and stuck out when I first watched it. I'm happy some people didn't notice it as the point of it should be for it to be invisible to most audiences. But to me, I saw it right away.
I also am not looking to be negative either as I want the movie to be fantastic and even though everyone else hated them, I loved MOS and BvS and I enjoyed SS.

I’ll even say that I didn’t “notice the reshoots” as much as I noticed something weird in the two lines clearly added in the aquaman clip. It just oddly didn’t flow. Then I saw someone post screenshots of the reshoots and it made sense.
I don’t want to believe this. And I hope it feels much smoother when seeing the final product.

It brought back flashbacks. I remember it like it was yesterday when everyone was hating on poor Gal. I had never really seen her in anything (at that point, I didn't see any of the Fast and Furious films) - All I knew was that I thought she looked the part facially and needed to bulk up (which she did).

I still think she's mediocre. So what's your point here? Come on, bring me the famous "Check the Box Office" or "Check RottenTomatoes" even though they don't mean s**t to me. Because I don't care the pro critics like or dislike, because if I did, I'd hate BvS and love WW, but nope... I did not like WW and I love BvS. WW is actually the only DCEU so far I have only seen once. Because the first time I've seen it, it felt like I already watched it. No surprise whatsoever. But that's me, and all the people I know. Except for my little niece that liked it but loves SuperHenry and Batfleck still more. Glad she puts Zack's Superman first hahaha
Oh and yeah, Gadot does look the part, which is good, but still, mediocre actress (not bad, just mediocre).
I think she's better than mediocre, but the film itself (while I did enjoy it the whole way through) was a bit thin to chew on and straight-forward. That's personal preference though. I like a lot of heavy concepts and spiraling into madness and all that, so BvS is way more my kind of movie.
WW is simpler, and that's why I am less likely to rewatch it as often as BvS or MoS, but it's also why it made a lot more people happy. Most people like things simple, and can't process complexity (even if they say they can :P).
I plan to buy the Blu-ray eventually either way. haha

I disagree. I think Gal nails the role - not necessarily because she's a "stellar" actress. It's because she has the presence, charisma and charm needed to play Diana. She isn't just a "badass warrior" - she has the gentility and kindness that has been sorely lacking from the New 52 Wonder Woman and it was just an overall "wonderful" charming performance.
On a personal level, I like MOS and BvS better than WW, but that takes NOTHING away from how much I still loved the movie regardless. It was entertaining, it was emotional, it was charming, and it was badass - all the ingredients of a great superhero movie.

I’m not watching these for spoiler reasons, but even Ben Affleck himself has said he can’t tell the difference between Joss and Zack’s scenes, so calm down, it’s probably mostly in your head.

These little clips can't be spoilers. But yeah, I wouldn't recommend watching em but they're not spoiling. Trailers spoiled way more with the flashback scenes of Apokolips attacks and with Steppenwolf talking about "No Protectors (Amazons), No Lanterns, No Kryptonian, ..."
The little stuff is more important to me - the character moments. I'm definitely holding off!

It's stupid, right? They will affect the movie so much, for us, people that've watched BatKeaton and SuperReeve. SuperStupid it is.
I know WB is trying really hard to reel Batfleck back from that brutality, though. People were FURIOUS about it.
It makes sense they're lightening the music up for him. Unfortunate, but yeah.
