After accidentally confirming, and then debunking a rumor about the Suicide Squad runtime this morning, director David Ayer took to Twitter to announce that post-production on the movie is completed!
With the final mix and coloring out of the way, all that's left is to get into the lab and shipped out to movie theaters around the world.
And with the movie being finished, we should learn the real runtime sooner rather than later. Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5th.

YES!!! Im sure it will, but i seriously hope this happens in this cinematic universe bc its the one im by far most interested in. From marvel to any films that dc has made already. Love the tone and style so far.
Well we're at least getting the chase scene with Mr J, Harley and Bats. Perhaps we'll get another scene of Bats and Mr J!

From what I have understood of this movie, given the trailers and the music videos, It seems as though the Squad is a tight nit group who share in the pain of having been locked up and abused in Belle Reve. It seems to humanize the villains, and from what I can remember, this will be the first time on screen to do that. Can't wait.

They are forced to do covert operations for the Government. They have a bomb inside their bodies, and if they try to escape or don't follow their orders, the bomb will explode. They are all criminales, and they are in Belle Reeve because the did bad things.
Yes, this is true...but Ayer and Co. are taking it a step further and humanizing these criminals. Much like real life, people see inmates as animals, but forget they are people too. It's a great take on these villains, and it has never been done before to my knowledge. It will be an amazing movie, I'm super hyped.

Question: Is China getting the film? Imdb doesn´t list a release date and Deadpool performed just fine without them, but still. JL will never make a billion if that country continues to elude DC, not that i mind.

WB is pretty good about this sorta thing so id be suprised if not. Plus why lose out on money and making that BO look even better? But honestly i havent heard yet.
Dark Knight broke a billion without China being anywhere near the marketplace it is today. The Avengers, the fourth biggest box office hit, also barely made any money there. JL needs to be good, and needs good word of mouth. It's not like studios get much money from the chinese box office anyway, when it comes to splitting the money between their government and the studios themselves.

That's a nice post. I'll even upvote. Yes, I've been overwhelmingly negative and apprehensive. But not always. That music video from 21 pilots -- I genuinely liked it. Would have been awesome, if the Squad members actually played a few scenes just for it.
But fine, I promise to try to be positive again.

Hmmm. Maybe not motherboxes and more likely but still unsure since im sure its not formed yet about JL, but its def connected so that stuffs out there. I mean, were gettin Batman and i couldn't ask for anything greater!!! I do suspect a lot of mentioning of Superman obviously and events of BvS would be more likely. However lets hope Ayer throws in tons of Easter eggs which already seems like hes dong. :D Maybe some flash and WW eggs to be found oooh!!! or some obscure character references!!! im excited if u couldn't tell. Though seriously, this better be great! While I think BvS is a guilty pleasure of mine, this has some potential to do better box office wise AND critical wise.
