Here's something that slipped through the radar. A few weeks ago to celebrate the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, production designer Patrick Tatopoulos shared some really cool new images on Instagram!

Tatopoulos shared new behind-the-scenes images of the awesome new Batmobile he designed, and Ben Affleck's Batman makes an appearance too, probably from the photo shoot they did for the very first Batfleck image. Tatopoulos also shared an early drawing he did of "Knighmare Batman", as well as Bruce Wayne's swanky glass lake house. Check out all of the cool new images below!

It's sad I didn't even notice how cool the Bat-mobile was I was to busy watching the train-wreck of a movie. It makes me sad to think of all the money and talent that went into this film vs the end result.

  I don't think the movie was a train wreck. I personally love it. Sure, it had some flaws and the pacing was odd but other than that, its a good movie.

Honestly the Batman designs were awesome. They truly were. It looked good throughout. The Batmobile was the best I've seen. It was powerful. Like super powerful. But it was still very agile and quick. I loved it. I like the look of these DC heroes. They just look the part and the designs have been flawless thus far. I'm yet to see both Flash and Cyborg in more detail so that's still an unknown. But the ones they have shown have been great on the eye. Even Suicide Squad. Deadshot,Harley and Katana are really working for me. Oh and Killer Croc. Joker it's not that I'm concerned. I'm still not as amazed as with the look of the others. But credit where it's due. The design people doing these projects have been really awesome

The production design was definitely the best thing about the movie! Certain moments, like the desert sequence seemed to me like they thought of the storyboard first and then thought "damn, how do we fit this into the story?"

    i feel like they cut the movie to much. I dont get it why they shortened it down so much. If you have a good movie (maybe to long) but still good then just release it. In the end it should all be about the movies quality and not money

      It's that much harder to fill seats for a 3-hour movie ("I don't want to sit there for 3 hours!" says the casual moviegoer), plus you probably lose 1 showing/day per screen. And, like it or not, big-budget films like this one are about filling seats and making money so the studio can concentrate on high quality for the Oscar-bait films in the fall.
      Having said that, I enjoyed the movie quite well, and if there are some shortcomings I'd rather praise Snyder, DC and WB for trying to stretch the medium and possibly not quite hitting their mark than curse them for not settling for tried-and-true formula.

        Also a shorter movie is much more profitable because it can be shown more often per day then a longer movie, thus generating more ticket sales. It´s the main reason why the studio wants shorter cuts for cinemas.

      It's very naive to think movies should be purely for quality. At the end of the day, a business is a business and it needs money to survive. They're not going to take the least profitable route no matter how much it improves the film.

        so let me get this straight: you only want them movies to become successful blockbusters. You dont want them to fully explore the justice league universe, the great storylines, time travels and characters interactions. If a movie takes more time exploring characters motivation, you should be able to connect with the characters and that is exactly what should happen!

  There was a lot more awesome stuff then just the design. the music, the cinematography, the visual effects, the fights, the costumes were all outstanding. BvS has its problems but they are almost entirely script and editing wise. On the technological and visual side of things the movie was near flawless.

what i find funny is that people that paid to go and see bvs and basically paid for an unfinished product.
blame has been thrown around using the "editing" as a poor excuse for the obvious faults that the movie has.
so we are left with a subpar product and now wb and dc are going to hope all these viewers fork out the cost of a dvd or blueray just so you can watch the finished product.
is anyone going to get a refund?
because what they released is an unfinished product,they were probably hoping that people wouldnt see thru it...yeah that didnt happen,but the thing is that now viewers are basically OBLIGATED to get the dvd or blueray because of the poor editing of the version that came out in the theaters...
gotta say,that is a dick movie by dc and wb,well atleast those dvd and blueray sales may help them make more money,maybe one of these days ill be able to change my posting name rofl

  its so weird that all they are aiming for is money. Hell if the movie is better in the 4 hours or 3 hours cut then let them have their runtime! Action sequences shoehorned together are bullshit in my opinion and i´ve waited 3 years for this mediocre movie. It feels like snyder kicked in my balls

    now the whole snyder believers will go in packs to get their dvd and or blueray so they can enjoy all those cuts they made to the movie when they watched it in the cinema,gotta say its a good market move for wb and dc,a dick move of course because they released a movie that made no sense,awful cuts and bad pacing...so yeah maybe with the dvd blueray sales they will make up for the money they lost from true dc fans who refused to go and see the pos they released.

      Unfinished implies they released it knowing that they hadn't done everything necessary for completion. What you're not happy with is what they purposefully removed. That does not make it unfinished, it's just poor choices.

whoa Patrick Tatopoulos was the designer on BvS ?! I LOVED this guys work on the Underworld films (He even directed the third one "Rise of the Lycans" himself). In my opinion his werewolf designs for those films were the best since Rick Bakers legendary work in American Werewolf in London.
