on New 'Batman v Superman' poster: The Battle is Bigger in IMAX

We got a new trailer, and now USA Today has premiered a new IMAX poster, which Batman News has obtained in high-resolution. The new poster features a showdown between Batman and Superman with the tagline "The Battle is Bigger in IMAX".

Some scenes were shot natively with IMAX cameras, though it's not clear as to how much will be shown in the larger format. The Dark Knight Rises had over 70 minutes of IMAX footage, so hopefully Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice comes close to that.

Check out the new poster above, and the final trailer below if you missed it. It features the most badass Batman moments we've ever seen in a movie before!

    IMAX executives said they would entrust their very expensive and delicate cameras for only Zack Snyder and they trust his vision. So there will be a lot of IMAX footage in the movie. Since as it can be seen in the final trailer these epic shots will be in best quality possible.

    Can't believe there's people on Facebook and Twitter that are still saying Affleck is horrible for Batman, and that Christian Bale is the one and only Batman they want ever.... god, are they dense!

      They are no different than the ones who complained about Man of Steel because they felt it didn't feel like their Superman (Donner movies).

      It is sad to think that the actor to these people matter more than the character.

      40 years from now, there will be another Batman. And another Superman. They have been around for more than 75 years.

      They should always, always matter more than the actors playing them.

      I wish people would understand this.

          For sure Suicide Squad's poster is amazing but these BvS posters IMO seems to have been done by an amateur. I don't know I was expecting something more, especially from an IMAX poster.

            I really like the artistic posters of BvS and SS. It sets it apart from typical blockbuster action posters. I hope they continue the trend with the rest of the films. Maybe some greek-style art for the first Wonder Woman poster? Or WWI propaganda poster like inspired one?

    Batman blocks superman everyone cheers but when superman throws him around like a soft toy or even stops his soccer kick in the rest of the trailer no one cares.....

    I have had more geek-out moments and enjoyed this build up to BvS more than any other movie or franchise that has come in out in my entire life. I have literally never been this excited to see a movie before. Can't fracking wait!!!

    Well, now we have better context to that Empire cover with Superman looking like "Bizarro"... Reason he's hunched over is probably a combination of him just standing in a brawling position ready to fight, and him feeling weaker from whatever's emanating from Batman's suit, because CLEARLY something about that suit was making Superman weaker in the last shot of the new trailer. That would also explain why superman looked really pale and "dead" in that cover.

    See, context really is everything.
