Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman grace the cover of Total Film

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Henry Cavill has officially joined Facebook, and to celebrate he just gave everyone a sneak peek at the December issue of Total Film magazine. The cover features an awesome new look at Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, and will go on sale this Friday.

    Gal Gadot is 5' 10" and her costume includes thicker heels than that of 6' 1" Henry Cavill. Add to this the fact that WW is front and center and you can tell someone edited her to looks shorter.
    I wont draw any conclusions about gender stereotype agendas being subtly peddled largely because most people working for magazines are incompetent anyway. Still though this seems done out of some bias, whether conscious or not.

      I think it's just because Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill are taller than Gal Gadot. I hate how everyone is offended by everything these days :(

        If I was portrayed as being four inches shorter than I am I would be offended! I don't know if women in general have a right to be offended about this but I know Gal Gadot does and it may be, in part, because she is a woman and someone said "Oh well women are usually short just make her a little smaller than the others...".

        She's 6 inches shorter than Ben Affleck in real life and they're all wearing boots. It doesn't look like there's more than a 6 inch difference between them to me in that cover.

        Yeah I'm nit picking, the perspective and geometry in photoshopped together magazine cover photos are always wrong.
        I'm arguing about height when the characters feet don't even look like they could be standing on the same plane.

  Depends. Usually she's said to be around 5'11", but I've seen comics where she's easily 6'2". In The New Frontier, for instance, she towers over Supes, who's typically 6'2-6'3".

    Yeah, see I'm thinking that the actors are playing characters that are roughly their own heights. Gal at 5' 10" with what look like 3" wedge style boots should be about 1" shorter than Superman in his boots.
    So I took notice because I was wondering if it was: 1. Lazy graphic designer 2. Character is supposed to be shorter than the actor playing her 3. Someone literally said eh women are shorter just make sure she isnt as tall as them

This cover is Perfect - all three of them. Wonder Woman's been shortened here (not complaining), but it really doesn't matter tbh (She was almost as tall as both Supes and Bats in the EW cover btw).

  I don't think she's been shortened. If anything, I think Henry has had some height added to him! They have him standing at the same level as Ben. And, unless I'm mistaken, Ben should have a few inches on him. Keep in mind, this is also with Ben wearing boots and a cowl, yet Henry is still eye to eye with him.

    This image most likely was not taken with all three of them together. They must have added some height to henry through photoshop, and decreased Gal's own height the same way. If you look at pics of them from comic con, you'll notice she's only about an inch or two shorter than Henry while wearing those heels.
