Rocksteady released a new 7 minute gameplay video from Batman: Arkham Knight today titled "Time To Go To War".
Following on from the events of the "Officer Down" gameplay video, Batman infiltrates Scarecrow's safehouse in Gotham City to find a familiar face, and takes on the might of the Arkham Knight's drone forces in the Batmobile.

Would have been a thug, not a civilian, I think, given they also dynamically drive cars around Gotham, and it was quite the slam but I'm sure they're alive, if crippled.

I am really digging the Batsuit and I hoped they make the CGI cape like they did in Man of Steel. Also I am waiting for haters to say the same thing about Margot's "Rotten" what they said about Leto's "Damaged"
I just can't understand how come Engadget didn't like this game! It looks freaking awesome! But I do remark something they mention in their review of Batman - Arkham Knight. As soon as you're done battling with Nightwing, he takes off :(
It's already known that the Nightwing/Robin/Catwoman sequences are each sidequests, probably ones that are on going like the Identity Theft/Hush and Deadshot missions in Arkham City. You probably have to wait until Nightwing makes some progress before you can continue with him.
I don't get some of their critiques, like how the city looking neon and mixing gothic and modern architecture (as it has been presented as before) = Batman & Robin. Silly.

Cant wait until it is finally released! But I hope Scarecrow is the main villain until the end of the game and the final Boss battle. (Even so I doubt it somehow) And I dont get, how can People say, that Poison Ivy doesnt look good? Besides even if she wouldnt, what is the Problem?
In my opinion Scarecrow as the final Boss would be cooler, but Arkham Knight can be the Boss battle at the end as Long as Scarecrow doesnt appear only for half an hour lol
But if they make her hotter people will whine about how DC is sexist and stuff. Remember the outrage New 52 received for Starfire, Catwoman and Amanda Waller?
I don't think Scarecrows is actually pulling the strings. In City, they purposely advertised it like Strange was pulling the strings but it was actually Ra's Al Ghul. In origins it was advertised to be Black Mask but it was actually Joker

Well, Rocksteady didn't work on Origins so that's irrelevant, and to be fair, Ra's wasn't pulling the strings in City--rather, he was financing and executing operations on Strange's behalf. Everything Strange was doing was possible because of Ra's, but was still Strange's idea.

No I am not, and Adam West's Batman is not the original batman.... In most of his comic book appearances batman never used the ywllow oval aymbol, it has almost always been black over grey, including his first appearance

It's when you "broke character" awhile back and said how much you really enjoy parodies. Since then, I've been intrigued to know more about that side.

Nothing's wrong with you. You just happen to enjoy when comedy is used well. I don't believe Marvel knows how the handle comedy at all. They use it as a crutch for their films. Take that away and everything else crumbles.

The worst part about that cult is that they don't want anything other than their "cookie cutter" films. As a comic book fan, it's horrible to see that mentality. Superhero films should be engaging and interesting. I'm tired of leaving Marvel films and having two feelings; forgetfulness and indifference.

It's entirely possible. Just about every set pic I see of her, she looks like she's just enjoying every moment of it.
Exactly! She's got the playful, mischievous look on her face. Even when she's just waving to the crowds or chatting with the crew. It's like Harley just stumbled onto set and is loving every minute of it.
Definitely method acting/staying in character. Especially when there are cameras around.

probably part 2 or the official JL 2. i have a strong feeling theyll save him for JL 2, so theres alot of the DCs heros and anti-heros set-up with the whole multi-universe explained. Darkseid War could be a big thing. I could be wrong tho, they might do him, or do Brainiac for part 1 or part 2.
I imagine part 1 is where the heros are struggling to work together and some dying. Part 2 could be the bigger plan.
Im hoping for Darkseid or Crime Syndicate. I would say brainiac, but could be a struggle expanding it across two films

It doesn't matter when he appears. What matters is his plan. Nobody cared who GOTG were until they had their blockbuster moment.
He was the first "big bad" of the New 52, so I assume he'll play a similar role for Justice League. I think WB is going to feel pressured to either get him in a movie before Infinity Wars, or to just abandon the character altogether.

Agreed! I didn't like his portrayal in the new 52, but I liked that his arrival gave the Justice League the reason to form. The Justice League needs a major threat to deal with, and it doesn't get any bigger than Darkseid.

Exactly. I dont know what DC is thinking making Darkseid so out of character. Darkseid is smart, sarcastic, eloquent and powerful and not a brute idiot, who can be beaten by every other idiot. But DC does the New Gods a lot of injustice in the New52.
Especially in War. I prefer the cunning Darkseid

I think they should intro him in JL1. But they don't beat him... very similar to the comic where they send him back to apokolips... barely escaping the ordeal with their lives. Emphasizing why they need to act as a team. So when they reintroduce him in JL4 they can do some intense scenes. They need to definitely flesh out his character tho and not do him new 52 style.
Darkseid is at his best when he talks crap to superman. I'd love to see that scene from superman/batman:apocolypse where darkseid grabs supermans cape, lol.

I've been here for a long time (came here over a year ago but went on a long hiatus) and man was there some nasty hate and so many trolls back then. There were literally only 3 (myself included), 3 people that liked both Marvel (comics) and DC. I remember that Marvel vs DC Watchmojo did. It was a freaking warzone. When veterans like me, KalElofKrypton and KightErrant got out trolled, you know it was bad.
With all that being said, I'm so glad to see and have watched this site grow. One of the only social sites I vist daily because of the awesome community we have here
