on The Joker and Harley Quinn argue in new 'Suicide Squad' set videos (update)

Update 2: Set photos from this scene are now online and give an even better look at Jared Leto's Joker!

Update: The video above gives us our best look yet!

As predicted, Jared Leto was on the set of Suicide Squad this evening, giving us another look at The Joker. I guess he won't be locked in his cell for the entire movie after all!

Unfortunately the person shooting the video was very far away, but you can still make out The Joker and Harley Quinn. From the body language, it seems like they're arguing. Plus, check out The Joker's sweet purple ride! I'm not a car guy, but it looks like a Lamborghini.

Based on their appearances (no tattoos for The Joker, Harley Dr. Harleen Quinzel doesn't have red/blue hair and isn't pale) I'd guess that this is a flashback scene. Hopefully it won't be long until we get some professional set photos. Stay tuned to Batman News!

    1. HEAVEN_OR_HECK Avatar
      HEAVEN_OR_HECK

I still think scattershotting such a huge mixed message was bad PR on Ayer's part. The Joker is the manic half of the single most sought out superhero (by relevant metrics) and deserved a cleaner debut.

        Trevor Douglas Allen

        All press is good press.

      2. Rorschach Avatar
        Rorschach

I think it was good PR (which, yeah, Trevor's got it right, press is press.) People are paying attention, and you know what? Guarantee even if that was a joke, it doesn't come back to bite DC. I mean, if someone is going to be butt hurt that DC pranked them (assuming it's a prank), they're probably an overly sensitive Marvel zombie anyway. It was clever and ballsy, something we aren't used to seeing from these big companies that so often play it safe, and it's above all else appropriate considering the fact that we're talking about the Joker. A crazy, unpredictable debut for a crazy, unpredictable man.

            Rorschachreplying to Knight Falcon

Yeah probably. I'm already seeing that. If the Marveltards are going to be Marveltards, there's nothing you or I can do that changes the fact that they're assholes. As for me, I'm on the DC train and I'm just glad to be along for the ride!

          1. Amit Sharma Avatar
            Amit Sharmareplying to Knight Falcon

we cannot say for sure looking at this blurry video that how many tattoos are there, but I am ok with it as long as it is handled properly. Tats doesn't matter to me, nothing is wrong or bad as long as the creator of that thing is crystal clear about the purpose behind it,why he has added that thing in the movie and how to make it look good.
. But when sometimes they just add something just for the sake of attracting people but don't really know what to do with it, then it looks really bad when the final product comes out.
