Right on schedule, production for Suicide Squad officially kicked off today in Toronto, Canada. Director David Ayer just shared the very first set photo on Twitter:
The movie has a working title of "Bravo 14", so if you're in the Toronto area and see something about that movie, it's actually Suicide Squad!
With production officially underway, hopefully it won't be long before we get some official photos of the star-studded cast in their costumes.

During Fall 2013 (when he shot Fury), Ayer would put up a photo with "Day [X]" on his Twitter. Some of them are pretty revealing. It might be different because this is a DC project, but I think he'll do something similar.
...sounds about right for David Ayer.

I hope that the tone of this movie will be like horror and serious along with elements like big twist and realistic action sequences and the script like we have not experienced before.
He's the director, he's in control of what goes on with his stuff.... He would have stopped if they were telling him what to do.

Wow dude! Great to hear it. Yea I'm a huge Daredevil fan too, I started reading him when I was about 13 and fell in love with the character. I have around 250 DD comics. I still think that Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev's run on Daredevil is one of the greatest runs in call of comics.
Matt was a fucking beast under Bendis's pen and took shit from nobody. Bendis's Daredevil is one of the most badass characters there is. And to top it off, Maleev's artwork was just georgous. You can definitely tell the show took massive inspiration from this creative team.
Thanks to you I started reading them now at 18 and I regret nothing.

Naa not anymore. When I was a kid I did. I had Daredevil, 3 Batmans, a Batman Beyond (still my favorite cartoon), Ghost Rider (I actually miss that one), a Wolverine (based off X Men cartoon) and much, much more. I got rid of them after I got older..
But I do wana start collecting Statues. I think those are cool

I had every BTAS figure in my childhood which my mom put out on yard sale. Right now, I have two BTAS Batmen, Scarecrow from Batman Begins, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Knock Out, Starscream, Symbiote Spider-Man and Venom (from Spider-Man 3)
Damn! I just remembered, I had venom from Spiderman 3 as well. I used to love going to Walmart or wherever and getting toys. That was my things as a kid. I had so many that I loved but I had to let go of them :( I do really want to start collecting statues though. I have a cool picture of a Dr Doom and Alex Ross Batman statue that I want in my phone. I'll dig it out

The New 52 Superman figure is one of my favorites.
Just don't buy the Arkham Origins Batman figure, lot of complaints about negligible articulation and bad paint job regarding that one.
Every time I watch that, I am transported back in time to where cartoons didn't suck and I would wake up every Saturday morning, make myself a bowl of cereal and watch KidsWB. Ah, nostalgia

Most probably Junkie XL will do it, considering majorly Batman characters are in Suicide Squad.
Nice. He's a good composer but Clint Marshall's scores really feel like a SS Score especially Smokin' Aces (directed by Joe Corehan who I believe can write a good DC film)

I never read much about his dad, I guess they improvised his part.
Yea they sort of did. His dad was much more of a hard ass in the comics but in the show there was a lot more emotion added to him
I loved the relationship between him and his dad, kinda set him up as a good person for the future.
Matt and Foggy in college is actually the best part to me in the show.

Did you really have to diss Gotham? Where did that even come from? Don't be those douches who hate on DC when the subject isn't originally about them. And Poison Ivy has a larger role than you think. Gotham is underrated. I bet you watched about 5 episodes and gave up because you didn't like the references and Easter Eggs but it gets better (a lot better) and the pilot was cool. I can't stress as awesome Gotham is
