Superman saves Lois in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' set photos and video

Henry Cavill's Superman took flight in Chicago last night on the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He was spotted saving Amy Adams, who plays Lois Lane, and we have high quality photos and a great video of the action.

The benefit of this movie is, you don't need to worry about pedestrians filming scenes with their iPhones. They would be doing that in real-life anyways.

It's the BEST thing that we haven't seen him in action yet. I don't want to, if there's a video/a picture of him in a scene tomorrow, I'm skipping it, not looking at it, whatever :D This way he's the mystery he should be. People should be aware of Superman and see him on their streets, when Batman comes you should have no idea what he looks like and what's going to happen. Damn those set pics :D

Am I the only one who notices how much more vibrant this movie is gonna be? Even the bat mobile reveal seemed colorful or at least the Star Wars spoof pic. Then there's the noticeably much brighter super suit and likely more to come. Looks awesome

Nope it is too early to say. Whether it will be vibrant or dark depends on the effects they put in post-production. Almost entire Man of Steel was shot in broad daylight but the blue filter applied in post-production gave it a gloomy, brooding feel.

    Nope. Not really the official images of the production are
    1) Superman standing in Gotham in a dark rainy day with a troubled vibe
    2) Batman brooding in a corner beside the dusty Batmobile
    3) Wonder woman standing in a ash covered dark battlefield
    On the other hand almost every official image of Man of Steel had been in day light.
    The Star Wars stormtrooper or Superman Jedi are not official images but just Zack snapping fun shots.
    Only thing brighter in this movie is Superman's costume which is really good touch. The MOS costume was too dark for the "Aww Shucks" awkward comic relief farm boy. Serious and brooding works for more mature and nuanced characters like Batman and Wonder Woman
    I am not saying that this movie won't be more vibrant than MOS , I am just saying it is too early to say. I think this will be darker than MOS because they are following the look of The Dark Knight returns. Metropolis could be brighter though.

  I've never really cared for those movies. First, because it's Superman. Secondly, I just don't buy so many people would embrace Kent as a hero so quickly. Takes me right out of the movie.

    Those came out before 2016 & aren't in the DCCU.
    Just a quick thought, I wonder how many people that saw V for Vendetta & Red (both of which had better box office revenues then Watchmen) even knew they were graphic novels. Red did the best revenue-wise, so I wonder how much interest was generated by the stars in the movie.

      The statement I inquired about was jas' "after 2016, DC>Marvel". I only saw a list of DCCU (purportedly) connected movies. Crowbar Batman into a movie & it'll sell (from what I hear, that's what happened with that suicide squad DCAU movie), so I was wondering what non-Batman movie was viewed as a tipping point to make then presumably uneven.
      Quality of DCCU has yet to be determined. It's only been Man of Steel so far.

Actually, aside from a distinct widow's peak, he just has a high forehead. Comb any dude's hair back and you'll see the same dip in the middle. With Cavill it's just more pronounced due to the style.

1) the Chicago news caption was "Batman filming". No wonder Supes looks so angry in the Comicon teaser.

2) coincidentally, there was both a "Clark" and an "Adams" listed in the road closures for filming.
