Darwyn Cooke's 75th anniversary Batman Beyond short premiered at WonderCon today, and now it's online for the world to see!

Will Friedle is back to voice Terry McGinnis, and Kevin Conroy reprises his role as Bruce Wayne. Check out the high action animated short in the video above.

On a related note, I know that the Batman: Assault on Arkham trailer leaked over the weekend. I'm waiting for a bit more information about it to be released before I post it here on Batman News. I'll follow up with Warner Bros. about it on Monday after they get back from WonderCon.

I didn't see a Christian Bale, Arkham or New 52 Batman in that army at the end. Still awesome though.

Awesome short, too bad it's way too short, either way, they should bring back Batman Beyond, or imagine an Arkham Game based on This Batman, it would be fantastic....

        I don't know what show you were watching, but Batman the Brave and Bold was an amazing show. It brought in the silver age charm with some Adam West inspired humor, but still made Batman himself to the core. If you watch any episode of that show you can just tell the amount of love the writers have for Batman, DC, and it's too often shoved under the rug silver age. That show had constantly quality episodes that always managed to make me laugh, yet still made me respect the characters represented.

        There's no place for the silver age in the 21st century, and I forgot about the Batman- that's the worst TV show. BTBB was frustrating to watch as I was afraid Batman will end up like Aquaman from Super Friends

        Oi contrare, I disagree. The 21st century is the perfect time for the silver age. In a time when every hero is turning dark, it's fun to get a more light hearted approach. Why do you think both Lil' Gotham and Batman '66 have sold extremely well? Evidently people these days are still enjoying their light hearted heros.
        I'm not saying it's the definitive take, it's just a take of the character. I still believe that Timmverse is the best Batman, but that doesn't mean I need to despise Brave and the Bold.

        Beware the Batman is universally "meh" by the mass so apparently my point of view is valid because the show got cancelled mid season. The suit was lame, they added Katana yet she never cut anybody, they wanted to include the detective aspect yet they half assed it with his own jarvis on his bat iphone, and they wanted to use unknown villains for the show yet they changed Anarky to make him more like Joker. I've watched every episode and the only one I remember and liked the most was the humpty dumpty episode.

  Well more then half the people who loves this movie never read a Batman comic and only knows the character through the movie. I don't care if something popular, I only care if it's good and the Dark Knight Trilogy was not in my opinion. The fighting choreograph sucked, the design of the suits were awkward, the dialogue was filled with over analyzing exposition that the fans supposed to think yet it was spoon fed to them because Nolan likes to show how smart he is, Batman was not a Detective and Ra's (pernounced Ray-sh not R-a-s) didn't acknowledged him as that because he didn't earn that title, Bane had an unnecessary race change, Bane did not break the bat only his back, Robin's name is not robin. . . stupid, Talia's inclusion felt unnecessary and rushed, and I can go on even further.
  Here's the things they did right:

  Joker, but even though he was cool, I prefer a more jokey Joker next time.

    The fighting in Burton's is more stylized but memorable, it's not as awful as TDK's "brawl" fighting that made Bane's and Batman's disappointing fights, I will agree there was no detective work in both movies, and Batman's costume is amazing in the Burton film. The Dark Knight was decent but Begins and Rises was awful.

      Fight Sequence of Nolan Batman Movies are very lack luster, and very unintelligent. Visually it's boring, it's slow, it's zoomed close so to make it seem faster but it's not. This is easily scene in the first fight scene between Batman and Bane in the Rises movie. It's slow, Batman just throws punches without thinking, and Bane only wins through sheer force with no precision. These are two trained assassin's fighting. To call these fight scene's amazing is a laughable remark especiall with the new Captain America movie that have shown the best fighting choreography. The kind of fighting choreograph is effective if one has super strength to emphasis that strength is all that's needed and precision is not needed. But these are two master assassin's who were should've been taught that if you can't simply punch someone then hist their weakness.

      Now look how he fought in the second fight scene, he moves different, he's not throwing punches to throw punches he's hitting where he needs and it's intense. https://www.youtube.com/wat...
      Now watch the fight scene between Bane and Batman and tell me it's slow and very average: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
      Now let's look at the cowl, my main problem is how smalle the opening of the mouth, it's too small and too rounded out that you get this awkward looking cowl. Also the begin's cowl's neck was too thick while the neck for the dark knight and rises was way to thin. I'm not saying bring back the old cowl but find a good medium between bobble head and stiff neck.

      The Nolan costume in the first movie was too grey and how the grey extends ti the cowl while the cape is a deep black is just an eye sore.The Dark Knight costume was better but it's not by much. It does not look like a batman costume it just looks bad. I do agree that Keaton's costume was too dark but the shape and form of the whole suit makes a intimidating looking man.
      ect. . . I got bored let's stop this conversation because we have better things to do then this.
