It looks like Warner Bros. is going to make a sweet profit of off their rumored $250 million dollar investment in The Dark Knight Rises. In less than 7 full days The Dark Knight Rises has made $374.2 million... that's more than the $372.7 million Batman Begins made in its entire theater run! I'm going to see it for a third time this weekend (I know I'm slacking, but I caught a nasty cold in NYC). Is The Dark Knight Rises part of your weekend plans?     Saw it 4 times in the opening weekend... =) it gets better and better everytime i see it.

      as someone who didn't really like it the first time i saw it, but who has nonetheless seen it 4 times since then (come on, it's batman), i couldn't agree with you more.  each time is better than the last, and the amount of call-backs (both large and "omg, no way!" small) to BB is stagering, making TDKR even more epic.

      So true. And whoever hasn't seen it in imax yet has to go! I saw it twice in normal cinemas before seeing it in imax, and it goes up tenfold on the epic scale! Make the most of it while its on the big screen!!

        Wish I could, but the closest IMAX theater that is showing it is 200 miles away. The closest IMAX theater to where I live period is 125 miles. :(

    Yep i'm going to see it a 2nd time with buddies on wednesday then i'm going to see it again by myself on Friday and then one more time on a monday :D

    I doubt it'll break Avengers' record or even TDK's. But I hope it does well. Nolan's success with Batman is why Nolan funds his other projects like Inception. It would be a shame if a less-than-expected showing by TDKR caused WB to cut back on the budget for Nolan's next movie.

    I'm going to see The Dark Knight Rises for the second time tonight.  My brother really wants to see it and I wouldn't mind taking a second look to see if their were any parts I missed from the first time I watched it.

    Yesterday was TDKR premiere day in Poland, so I went to cinema 5 times... And that's just begin ]:) Later it'll be much more I'm sure!

    I've seen it four times now.  The third time was probably the most enjoyable.  The fourth time I really wanted to go because there are a few key scenes that I just LOVED and, like having a good song stuck in your head, the only way to deal with that is to watch it.  It's becoming my favorite of the trilogy and I NEVER thought anything would surpass my love for Batman Begins.

    Saw it for the fourth time last night (all in IMAX). Truly incredible. There's just so many scenes that I love. I'll definitely be seeing it one or two more times. Maybe more lol.

    Just came back from 3rd viewing, like everyone else, it gets better each time. Guys, remember to buy the Aurora single from Hans Zimmer, all proceeds go to the victims of the shooting.

    Seen it twice, and planning on seeing it  atleast a few more times before I pre-ordering  it on blu-ray. I gotta say that it does get better the second time you see it, I also notice that "The Batman" does not come out as much as we would have liked, but it fit the story though. It still was All About Batman, it was Bruce Wayne's exit and Robin's origin story. To me, it was not a story that say's " Good will always prevail over evil", but rather " Good must prevail over evil". If evil has its day, the lack of order will eventually cause too much destruction, even self destruction. Once again GRREEAATT ending to nolan's BATMAN interpretation, and the door is left open for the next vision to continue.
