Mattel revealed two new action figures as part of their The Dark Knight Rises Movie Masters toy line. Gotham City cop John Blake and Alfred will be joining Mattel's Batman, Bane, and Catwoman figures. The toys are available for pre-order on BigBadToyStore.com, which also lists a "secret figure" as part of Mattel's Movie Master line.

PS: Alfred toy is ugly as hell, but is a Alfred toy, soo, i will buy, and again, have more in John Blake than meet the eye (and he not a Transformer)
Personally i find the Alfred figure amazingly detailed and spot on, both figures are looking great for their size!

It's strange to think that Talia is supposed to be a secret character...
yet it's like as common knowledge as the fact that Bane and Catwoman are in TDKR (at least it seems like that to me)

robin. that stylized "R" at the beginning of the #2 trailer is still suspicious to me.
Introducing Robin has been my greatest fear, along with the prospect of Batman being killed in the DKR. I hope you are wrong because introducing a ridiculous sidekick is a sure fire way to ruin this movie. Even with Nolan directing. Don't think they will though. If the series was going to continue I could see Nolan possibly bringing Robin into the picture but not with this being the conclusion to the Batman trilogy.
maybe not the robin with green/ red tights, but the concept of robin. How if TDKR introduces a character that, in some way symbolizes robin. I would like to see how Nolan integrates a character like that in this particular universe.
If there is a Robin in any form Christian Bale would have quit.
You know what will be cool to do? Take the original red-suit Batman concept by Bob Kane as the replacemnt suit of the (possible) replacement Batman, and the suit looks a lot like Tim Drake's uniform of Robin

Chances are it was just a group of friends who made their own signs and went to the shoot. I was there and it was open to all as long as you had tickets. I went with 4 of my friends and we were encouraged to create our own signs.

They obviously didn't miss it. They most likely saw it as an opportunity for a nice little easter egg. I'm not sure if Robin, or some random take on him, will be in the film.... but it was confirmed that the sign was fan-made.
A Christopher Nolan Action figure operating an IMAX camera would be pretty awesome. :-)
Kids are so lucky nowadays. I would've given anything for an Alfred or a Gordon toy when I was little. Instead they came out with red-lava-suit Batman, arctic-climber Batman, limegreen hang-glider Batman, Snow-patrol Batman, Scuba-diving Batman...

TDK made so much money because everyone went to see it Male and Female , Why did the females go ? probaly to see Heaths final performance if were being honest it wasnt for Batman ( not including UniqueJenique and JuliBalehead and QueenChaos in this theory = ) But my point is the female population need a reason to see this movie if WB are going to maximize its money ! As of right now do you think the girls want to see Batman and Bane kick the SH*T out of each other ? Yeah, i mean, of course EVERYBODY in the whole world knows who is Catwoman, but now we seem to have a very different vision of her, and this new concept needs to be spreaded! Imagine the picture: no marketing actions or virals to promote Catwoman in TDKR - "the character sells itself", thinks the WB CEO. Then, the people will go to the cinema expecting all the same old sex appeal and slutty attitudes of the character, then BANG - they're now facing a socialist activist, Robin Hood type of character!!!! Shocking, huh!?

I was saying that if Robin had been a part of these movies, Bale wouldn't have signed on to play Batman.
I'm pretty sure the whole Scarecrow character won't be in it. Nolan's put him to use twice already. The character is used up and we want to see some new shit! Hence, Catwoman/Selina, Bane, Miranda Tate, John Blake and Talia al Ghul.

Fair enough. Realistically, none of us have any clue what's going to happen. There's been a lot of conjectures (some good, some terrible), but nothing concrete. So I guess we'll have to wait and see. If Nolan did include Riddler that would be an insane amount of characters in a movie. Way too many. Think about it, Selina/Catwoman, Bruce/Bats, Alfred, Fox, Bane, Miranda, Professor, Blake and now Riddler and possibly Robin. I don't think so!

I bet he's not even in it. Who gives a shit about him? Miranda Tate is staff at Wayne Enterprises. She has the inside scoop on a lot of the workings. She joins forces with Bane and shares all Wayne's secrets with him.
So yeah, a dude discovered that Bruce is Batman and then he simply dissapears? No mentions, no nothing? I assume that was a huge revelation,right? But i know what you mean... well, i'd accept if Nolan discards the character, but i wouldn't be happy if so... i'd face it as a plot hole.
He tried to voice his belief (that Wayne is Batman) to Lucious Fox. Fox made him feel stupid for thinking that and dispelled his belief.
Nolan wouldn't be "discarding" the character. He's just done with him. He serves no more purpose to the story.
But he still knows!!! And as far as we know, he still working in the Wayne Enterprise... i got your point man, but it's weird IMO.
He doesn't know anything. He has nothing but a theory and Lucious made him question his certainty. Furthermore, the Joker make Reese feel threatened by all Gotham citizens. Reese has no reason to talk and no reason to want to talk and no absolute proof. The character is done; TDKR is a new movie, let's move on.

Well, you´re the one who brought it up right? Obviously it´s hard even for you to have too much faith in such a theory but hey, it´s all fun right? ;)
I just show you how miserable are all these prediction theories and at the same time the possibility of everything... as i've said it doesn't matter who they are... what matters is how they'll be shown to us... considering who is the director/writer - i've no doubts about the quality of anything...
I think Catwoman has hardly been mentioned and has not been revealed yet because she's hardly in the film. Selina Kyle may play a big role, but Catwoman won't. Selina will be integral in coercing Wayne into returning to protect Gotham. He'll probably fall in love with her and see how much impact Bane is having on the lower class citizens of Gotham, thus causing Bats and Bane to fight for control.
Between Selina and Arthur, Bruce Wayne will stand to lose the only people he still loves in Gotham - since his parents died and Rachael Dawes died. Bane is going to kidnap or hurt Alfred somehow. That's going to be his major motivation for "rising" as Batman and defending Gotham.

You are really, really, REALLY late.
Have a hunch that bane does break the bats back, and we'll see flashbacks of this while Bruce recovers. That is why it takes place 8 years later. During the newest trailer they fade out the neck (top of the bat suit) when bane is talking to a beaten Bruce/ dk. I think raj / daughter will be involved in his recovery. Can't wait.
The movie takes place 8 years later because Bruce had to recover mentally and physically from Joker and Harveys actions in TDK.

I hate Robin since i was just a child, and loved Batman so much! He is like a Batman's colostomy in my view. C'mon, a kid wearing colorful clothing, side by side of a dark and twisted Batman? Never understood the existence of this character, so silly, his origin is pathetic and he ridicules the intents of the Batman character completely.
As a consolation prize, i think Carrie Kelley is a "not so bad" Robin but still not good enough for me! But yeah, she's was the best Robin IMO.
I found Dick Grayson to be the only good Robin, he eventually became incredible Nightwing. Schumacher nearly ruined the character.

There has been no Robin in the Christopher Nolan Batman movies so far and there couldn't be Robin in The Dark Knight Rises because it takes place 8 years after The Dark Knight and Batman has been inactive for those 8 years because he took the fall for Two-Faces five murders, in order to let hope remain in Gotham

My honest guess is a mixture of yes and no. I don't think Blake will be Dick Grayson / Robin, however, I believe it will be Nolan's realistic take on a Robin; a sidekick of sorts. However, a character named John Blake was in the comics featuring The Joker and I think that Blake was a bad guy. Could it be the same John Blake? Could there be a connection to The Joker? Seriously, since this is the conclusion, I'm assuming there is much more to the John Blake character than what meets the eye.
I bet the the "secret character" is Bane's right-hand man. His main henchman that gathers information and has the inside scoop on Wayne Enterprises' inner-workings. Acting and going by the alter-ego as a friend and employee to Bruce Wayne, Miranda Tate. When in reality she is in fact Talia al Ghul, working with Bane.
As a matter of fact, I'm going to go on record as saying 'I'm almost certain that is how her role will play out'.
Yeah agreed 200% but if any Bane is Talia´s right hand man not the other way around, she´s leading this vendetta against Bruce and Gotham.

Talia has a personal vendetta against Batman. After all, Bats killed her dad (in the first movie). She's going to try and fulfill Ras al Ghul's attempt at corrupting Gotham City. In doing so, she (or the League of Shadows) goes in search of the most ruthless, villainous, smart and powerful character they can find. This leads them to a prison where Bane is discovered and "employed" to help corrupt Gotham and bring down Batman.
Say whaaaaaaat? The explosion killed him, not Bats.
